Book Synopsis:
In this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.

Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

Hi everyone! I'm joining this one too. It has been a couple of months since I've read Scarlet, I hope everthing will come back to me while reading Cress :)

Did everyone know that the next in the series, Fairest, comes out in January? So excited! Winter won't be out until November 2015. They both sound really good.

So we get to meet Cress. I really want to know why they are taking her blood? I have a feeling it has to do with the plague antidote. Maybe that's the secret ingredient.

Also it seems like we found a love interest for Thorne. I hope she finds a way to escape and meet up with Cinder and Scarlet. We know she wants to protect them.

I also like that we are learning more about Thorne. Just makes me like him even more.

Poor Cress, 7 years alone on a satelite. Must have been horrible.

(view spoiler)[ Wow so much has happened already! I like how this one just rushed ahead. Scarlet has been captured, Cress and Thorne are falling towards Earth, Wolf is injured..... I can't wait to see how this all plays out.

I forgot about Dr Erland, but I;m glad he will be included in this novel. I don't really know what he's searching for in Africa, but it seems like the plague is going to get much worse.

(view spoiler)[ It's fun to read about how Cress reacts to being on the Earth for the first time. It's such a different view because we are so used to things like trees and the sky. It seems like Cress and Throne may be heading the way of Cinder and Wolf without knowing it.

Where is Scarlet?!

The part with Kai is sad because you really get a feel for how hopeless his situation is. Not only marrying the evil queen, but giving her power over his people. Especially because she can manipulate people so well. It's basically let her take over the world peacefully or with a war. Now we are just counting on Cinder to stop the wedding.

I can't wait til Cinder goes to Luna! I really want to read all about that weird planet. (hide spoiler)]
