Hm...this is starting so close to when I've got 2 other BRs going. I wonder if I can manage to read all 3 at the same time... decisions! Do I want to read this sooner rather than later??
To those who have read it, would you consider it a quick read? Or at least, easy to get into and maybe hard to put down?

It's not too bad. The flow of the book is pretty easy so it goes quickly while you're reading it. I think it took me a few days when I read it but I was up against the clock for returning it to the library.

Yes I think it is a quick read. Same as Kelly, I think I read it in 2 days because it flows well and you want to know what happens next

Okay, you've got me convinced I can do it. *adds this to her ever-growing list of November books* haha
I'm in for this one. Does the informal start date mean we start reading on that date? or we start discussing and should have the book finished?
Yes that is the date people start reading. Just drop by and leave comments as you go, using spoiler tags if required :)
Six days! Wow...I definitely don't read that fast. I'll probably need double that, but I'll see what I can do.

( it may be a couple of days late)
I would love to do my very first buddy read with this book and you guys, but of course it's not in my library, I can get it on overdrive but I am number 78 in line for the waiting list, so.. I doubt I'll be getting it in time. :( (there are 5 copies - I've never done the holding thing on overdrive as I am still kind of new to everything here, haha)
Not sure I can make this one, after all. I just added a book that I *have* to read this month for an out of group buddy read challenge I'm in. I have a feeling that other book is going to require more focus from me so one less book on the plate should help. I hope.
I'm so stupid. I'm so new to this library awesome-ness (ashamed to admit at age 26) and didn't realize that just because I was looking at my ipda on overdrive that DUH they also could have a copy at the library, too, so now I just requested a copy from there and hope I get it soon as there are many copies available, they just have to get it to my library for me to pick up. :P I should be able to join in on this read, and seems like theres lots of people so I'm happy.
I'm in for this one. I'm in a long line for the hold list at the library though, so I'm not sure when I will get it. Hopefully it won't be too long.
I got the Audible version. Really looking forward to it. I started listening to the beginning (yes, I cheated!) and it's really good. Now I have to wait...just a couple more days though!
Ok, I started a little early. I'm about 37% in and loving it. I am curious about so many things. And I have a few ideas as to what's going on with certain things. Can't wait for everyone to start reading to discuss. I might not be the very last person done this time!
I'm hoping my hold comes in tomorrow so I can start tomorrow. Just started another buddy read tonight.. Any idea how much we should be reading?

Book Synopsis:
'I guess it started with the mothers.'
'It was all just a terrible misunderstanding.'
'I'll tell you exactly why it happened.'
Pirriwee Public’s annual school Trivia Night has ended in a shocking riot. One parent is dead. Was it murder, a tragic accident...or something else entirely?
Big Little Lies is a funny, heartbreaking, challenging story of ex-husbands and second wives, new friendships, old betrayals and schoolyard politics.
No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Liane Moriarty turns her unique gaze on the dangerous little lies we tell ourselves every day and what really goes on behind closed suburban doors.
Let me be clear. This is not a circus. This is a murder investigation.
