Whilst I was at it, I also created the series (you might want to check to make sure the numbering is correct. I took it from Amazon/book titles):

Douglas Deur is the author. I don't see any references to "Leda Meredith" anywhere in the book as I flip through it on my desk -- not co-author, not photo credits, not introduction. Meredith has written a similar book, "Northeast Foraging," so perhaps someone was confused.

The description in the first link (the hardback) is a rather long summary of the book, whereas the description in the second link (the Kindle) matches the blurb on the dust jacket from my edition. So I'd recommend using the description from the second link.
