I was going to start Miracle Creek but I just picked up my copy of The Testaments from the library. I also am tempted to re-read The Handmaid's Tale first.
Decisions!
Decisions!

Laura, I’m tempted to re-read The Handmaid’s Tale prior to reading The Testaments as well...

Thanks Kathy for moving your book out of journalism. I have less than 100 pages to go... and journalism remains the bet fit of the badges available.

Thanks Emily for your super spreadsheet abilities!
So glad everyone is making progress!
I’ve just gotten home from a football game, so I’m heading to sleep but I will check out the spreadsheet in the morning!

There's no way I'll finish The Goldfinch by tomorrow. The writing is dense and I want to read every word, or at least every sentence!
So I'm switching to an audio of What We Lose by Zinzi Clemmons. Also reading Invitation to the Waltz by Rosamund Lehman.
Fingers crossed that I can finish.

Emily, can you please doublecheck the spreadsheet when you have a chance to be sure I did it correctly? ;)

On the spreadsheet there is a tab for Read-a-Thon Completions. I've updated it with Edie's, Rachelnyc's and my finished books. (Hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes)
Finished Wind, Sand and Stars and added it to the spreadsheet. Not sure that I'll finish anything else this week.
The spreadsheet looks great. Thanks for keeping it up, everyone.
We are only 5 books short of getting the fourth quest. Here's what we need:
- Girl Scouts - Outdoors (1 book)
- Girl Scouts - Life Skills (1 book)
- Boy Scouts (3 books)

Thanks Kathy, I am not keeping up with posting as well as I would like. I am 6 days out from a hip replacement and although I have fortunately not had to take my heavy duty pain relievers, I am tired and slow and clearly missing some pieces.

Our classics book club is reading Slouching Toward Bethlehem and as with most essay collections, I love some of the essays and have to work through others.
I loved The Goldfinch when I read it several years ago, but it is not a book that lends itself to whipping through it for a read-a-thon.

I hope you are doing well with your recovery, Edie.
Hey all! Happy last day of the Read-A-Thon! I hope you have all been busy reading today instead of playing on Goodreads like me lol.
I've finished another book, so we are just 4 books short of completing Quest 3. Let's see if we can get through this quest before the Read-A-Thon is over!

It's Agatha Christie Day! So obviously I had to start one. I make no promises or guarantees that I'll finish it today, but I will do my best. Plus I'd been itching to pick up Lord Edgware Dies again anyway.
