Ever wanted to drop out, disappear, become somebody else? The Last Flight by Julie Clark brings to mind the old saying "out of the frying pan, into the fire"!

Currently reading ‘Little Secrets’ by Jennifer Hillier. It’s a psychological thriller that is totally delivering on the thrills. Publication date on Thursday.
Starting

Mum & Dad by Joanna Trollope My spoiler free review can be found at https://sandysbookaday.wordpress.com/... and https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...Mum & Dad is available for request from Netgalley until May 8th.
I've had a couple of political reads recently. Colombiano is about the terrifying situation of kidnappings, guerrillas, and drug wars in Colombia.Aussie-born author Rusty Young spent a lot of time there and wrote this compelling, fictionalised, first-hand account of a child soldier.
4.5★ Link to my "Colombiano" review
On an entirely different political note, I just enjoyed this children's biography Work It, Girl: Michelle Obama by Caroline Moss. Written to inspire girls to become leaders, it has lots of details and includes more resources at the end.
4★ Link to my 'Michelle Obama' review with a few illustrations.
Well done PattyMacDotComma. I DNF the Rusty Young book as I found the violence overwhelming.I was in the minority though.

I'm currently reading The Love Square by Laura Jane Williams.
It's about a chef who has had a bit of a tough life, but is still optimistic and trying to find love. Enter amazing guy, and the difficulties they face to be together (I guess, haven't reached the end yet!)
I am enjoying it a lot, definitely recommend it for anyone who's feeling the need for a lovely, fun, and emotional read about love and the choices we make in life.

Harper brilliantly weaves fact with fiction and utilizes Lala as an insider's perspective into the royal family. Historical fiction fans will enjoy traveling along with the family and crying with them during joys and sorrows.

A Sunset in Sydney Review:
Get ready to climb aboard and set sail with Sarah on her love-triangle adventure with James and Josh. Since Sarah's Mediterranean trip, she's been harboring feelings for both men. They complement other sides of her personality. James is cultured and well traveled while Josh is younger and adventurous.
