I really don't remember much of what they said except that they shared a music stand and they would write anonymous notes to each other. Sorry I can't describe it more.

Any idea if children's, YA, or adult?

Abigail (abbeygrace) | 4 comments probably YA. I tried looking up where I originally saw it but no such luck.

Daffodil (daffodil--ripcranberry) | 121 comments Guitar Notes by Mary Amato doesn't fit perfectly. They alternate use of a music practice room. She leaves him notes between his guitar strings. And they aren't anonymous.

"On odd days, Tripp Broody uses a school practice room to let loose on a borrowed guitar. Eyes closed, strumming that beat-up instrument, Tripp escapes to a world where only the music matters.

On even days, Lyla Marks uses the same practice room. To Tripp, she’s trying to become even more perfect — she’s already a straight-A student and an award-winning cellist. But when Lyla begins leaving notes for him in between the strings of the guitar, his life intersects with hers in a way he never expected.

What starts as a series of snippy notes quickly blossoms into the sharing of interests and secrets and dreams, and the forging of a very unlikely friendship.

Challenging each other to write songs, they begin to connect, even though circumstances threaten to tear them apart. "

Be sure to let us know for sure!

Abigail (abbeygrace) | 4 comments Well, I really won't know for sure because I really can't find where I saw her talking about it and ask her, but this sounds really close(only that they weren't anonymous.) So you could probably put this one as solved. :)
