Also reading The Knife of Never Letting Go, which despite the annoying writing is growing on me.

Not totally sure what to read after that. I have a Beowulf translation by Tolkein which has been staring at me a while so maybe that.

I haven't read City of Stairs yet, but everything else of Bennett's that I've read has been great, and I'm very curious to see how he handles secondary-world fantasy.
But I probably have to read his American Elsewhere first, even though it's completely unrelated.

Just finished myself. A very nice read, and the ending is satisfying -- no cliff hanger.


I'm currently reading The False Prince

It was the first of his I read and have since read The Troupe, which I very much enjoyed as well. Just found Mr. Shivers at the used bookstore tonight. Excited to check it out

72% through the Dark Tower, properly sad. Dis anyone else read this thread and feel that they're missing out. I need more reading hours in my day!
