"You have such cherubic figures." he found himself telling Cas before taking his lips touched Cas's.

"...Okay." He whispered breathlessly, unsure how to accept the compliment
Dean gently placed two hands on Cas's cheekbones and leaned down to kiss him again.
Dean pulled away with a smirk on his face." Care to repeat that again?"
"You're...nice...to look at?" He said questioningly, still sort of unsure on how to take hold of the situation. He felt sort of jumbled up inside, like someone took him apart then threw him back together all in a matter of minutes
Dean blushed." Thanks Cas, you really are the best." He pulled back and sat down at the table.
"I suppose." Cas said somewhat quietly "Can we wait until I get out of the hospital before I see you again? Gabriel's angry at you, and he could be back anytime."
Dean groaned in annoyance, but smiled." Anything for you Castiel."
"You're too kind." Cas replied, going along with Dean's bravado
Dean got up," I'll get going before Gabby shows up, alright?"
"Mm." Cas agreed, still jittery after being kissed "I'll call you...or something."
Dean nodded." Yeah sure, bye Cas." he then left with a smile on his face.
Cas nodded back, curling into his bed. God, that was exciting. Everything still kind of smelled like him, and he closed his eyes, letting himself revel in the spicy musky smell."Cas." Gabriel was in the room, looking completely unfazed. Surprisingly, he looked okay. Less disproving
"Mm?"
"I saw Dean in the hallway. Did things go okay?"
"He's not married." Cas blurted excitedly, sitting up "And...he's interested in me."
"Shouldn't come to conclusions, eh?" Gabriel looked happy but kind of sad.
"I suppose it was all for nothing."
"Still shouldn't jump to conclusions." Gabe said staring out the window "Don't wanna pull a Romeo and Juliet, Jules."
"I'm not a woman..."
"It's a joke, Cas."
"Okay...I guess I get the point."
Dean was lucky to escape the hall without meeting Gabe, he had no idea what he would say to Dean, probably yell at him and throw a punch at him, and Dean would have just let him do all that.
Gabe went over and patted his shoulder "Want some ice cream?"
"Not particularly, but sure...I guess...if you have it...."
"Okay." Gabe got up, leaving once more
*** A few days later ***Cas walked out of the hospital, wincing at the bright sunlight. It was the perfect day-sunny, bright, warm...
Dean was already outside with his baby waiting for Cas to show up.
Cas saw Dean and sped up to a low trot to meet him. Gabriel was waiting in the car behind Dean, a beat up old minivan
Dean beamed at Castiel." Come on, let me take you home." He was already opening the door for him.
"I did take you home before, now lets go." he then paused." Unless you want to go with Gabe."
"I'm sorry...I forgot." Cas turned away from Dean for a second "Gabriel? Can I ride home with Dean?""Sure?" He gave Cas a thumbs up before driving away
"You sure you don't mind Gabe?" he asked, he wanted to be on the right side of Cas's older brother.
"Eh, he'll be fine." Cas shrugged, getting into the passenger's seat of the Impala
Dean blew a kiss to Gabe and he drove away. "How are you feeling?"
Gabe flipped him off, smiling."I'm feeling okay. Tired. If anything, I just feel really stupid for not realizing."
Dean rolled his eyes and grabbed his hand." Whatever babe, I would've done the same thing."
"Babe?" He watched Dean, curiously trying to figure out his intentions
"If you don't like it, I wont call you that, I'll call you something else, like sweetheart or honey,"
"I'm just not used to nicknames, it's okay."Cas gave a slight smile
Dean squeezed his hand." You better used to them soon, sweetheart." he tugged Castiel closer to his side.
"Oh no." Cas said, in a voice that was sort of jokingly emotionless
Dean frowned and parked in front of his house. He made sure Gabe wasn't behind him before grabbing Cas and putting him onto his lap.
Cas snuggled into Dean's chest, surprised, but trying to play it off
Dean kissed him and ran a hand through his hair.
"Mmf?" He was surprised, but accepted, not in control with his senses
"Why are you so adorable?" How do you do it?
"I'm confused a lot of the time?" Cas answered, unsure how else to answer
Dean chuckled and then cursed." Baby, your brother is here, and he's giving me the stink eye..."
Gabriel was in the car next to theirs, giving Dean a suspicious eyebrow. However, he was smiling slightly, which sort of assured Cas a bit more."Oh...okay."
"I'll walk you to your door, come one." he opened teh door and gestured Cas to get out.
Cas got out obediently, still feeling the rush of having somewhat disobeyed...life? His brother? He wasn't sure"Eyyy Cassy." Gabriel slapped him on the back, having to reach up. It wasn't often that Cas was struck by how short he really was.
Dean stepped out of the car and frowned." You okay Cas?"
"I'm fine, just a bit disoriented."Gabe laughed, guiding him to the door somewhat controlling "Come by later, Dean-baby."
Dean snickered and ignored Gabe." I'll see you later, alright baby?" he asked Cas.
Cas blushed harder, hiding a bit behind his jacket before going inside. Maybe Dean had his number...maybe he could text him or something. It gave him butterflies just thinking about more contact with him, and Gabe bumped against him."Good guy you got there, I guess. But don't get too...nevermind."
"Too what?"
"Too weird and attached like...you...do...when you first meet people. No offense, but Cassy, you're a bit clingy."
"I'm not...how dare you?!"
Gabriel rolled his eyes "Just doing you a favor."
Cas didn't reply, responding with a scowl instead
Dean smiled and started to drive his Baby. He wondered if he had Cas's number, he probably did. At a red light he got out his phone and started texting.Hey Cas, he texted.
