Hi Gaines. I just read your short and holy cow! I want to see this in novel length! There is a lot to build upon in this short and I just want you to know that I thoroughly enjoyed your prose. Kudos for going Indie.

Feel free to write a review if you like, on Amazon or here or both :-)As for a novel-length expansion... hmmm... maybe ;-) It's definitely a possibility. I'll have to finish my current projects first though (a sci-fi novel almost finished, just needing a new ending and another pass-over or two; a fantasy novel that's about halfway finished).

I've just put a very dark, dystopian sci-fi / horror short story up on Amazon: That One Pretty Thing. It's entering a free promo cycle starting tonight.
This one climbed the editorial ladder to the short list for Dark Discoveries magazine over a period of four and a half years, but in the end they rejected it (coincidentally or not, the rejection happened immediately after the chief editor on whose desk it had been sitting left the magazine!). Anyways, no hard feelings; I'm just glad to finally be able to get the story out there for people to read. So I've decided to self-publish it, and it's starting a free promo cycle with Kindle Select tonight :-)
