I know one of the girls it follows starts out rich and snobby, father owns a bank, lives in San Francisco and her family loses it all in the fire. She then becomes a nicer person, falls in love w/ a poor boy maybe named Arthur, they runaway together and both go down with the titanic. Then it moved on to another young girls story. May have reincarnation in it I'm not sure but the main girl is modern, she may have been on a school field trip to a museum when she learns about the diamonds that had been made into a necklace. The necklace maybe was found in a doll in an attic.
