Hello again,

Here is something that hopefully will be fun for all who part take of it. If you are interested please sign up and September 30th, groups will be announced and discussion groups will be set up.

The groups will contain 3-4 people, who as a group will choose a book that they all agree upon reading. Then the group of people will agree upon a date to start talking about the book they read. This date must work for all in the group. Then the group will talk about what they thought about the book from what they liked to what they hated about the book. Also the books should be either Christian, Inspirational or Clean.

Please sign up below if you are interested in being part of Group Reading.

Ok so it looks like it is just the four of us, so we will just do one group. Lets see if we can do this a little different.

Please list your top three authors, and see if we can maybe narrow it down that way so that everyone will enjoy the book :D

Karen Kingsbury
Between Sundays
Surise (the whole series)

Shelly Shepard Gray
Winter's Awakening
Wanted i love all her books.

message 13: by Jessie (new)

Jessie Cumpson | 233 comments I don't think I have read any karen kingsbury books.

message 14: by Jessie (new)

Jessie Cumpson | 233 comments Have either one of you read any books by Lyn Cote? I have never tried this author looks like there would be some interesting books to read we all might like.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

I enjoy Lyn Cotes books. She has written quite a bit for Love Inspired and so longer novels as well. I will be reading her latest book Honor this weekend.

So my top books,

Mary Connealy I would have to say it is her Sohpies Daughters Trilogy though that would be hard to read unless the other series have been read.

Karen Witemeyer there is Tailor Made Bride, Head in the Clouds and Short Straw Bride.

Shelley Shepard Gray there is The Caregiver, Daybreak and Hopeful.

Jessie Cumpson | 233 comments I am good with whatever you two want to pick. I have not read any of Janine's books that are listed.

message 17: by Jessie (new)

Jessie Cumpson | 233 comments I also have not read any books Linda listed. I have read mostly Wanda Brunstetter lately, I have read mostly all of Jeannett Oak's books except Dana's Valley, They Called Her Mrs. Doc. On Nickolas Sparks books I have not read The Lucky One, True Believer and some others. I hope this helps. I am good whatever all of you agree to.

I am good with whatever you pick Janine. I haven't read any of the ones you listed, but they are on my to be read shelf. I also like Nicholas Sparks, and haven't read a few of his books. I just don't like historical romance. in the christian genre, but willing to read anything else.

Have a blessed day

I just finished this book. I really enjoyed it. I could relate to Mattie and what she was going through with Cancer and the treatment. I can still remember clearly the day my hair fell out and how devastating i felt. But thanks to God and family i made it through. I also have a friend who is in an abusive marriage, and she doesn't seem to have the courage to get out. She just lives so unhappily. She stays for her children and now a grand baby. So i could relate to this storyline completley. I enjoyed it.

message 44: by Jessie (new)

Jessie Cumpson | 233 comments I was abused by my first husband so i could relate to the story. I finally left him and restarted my life. My aunt also went through cancer. I did like the book. With God and family it definitely helps. I would like to read more by this author.

I am so happy you walked out of that relationship Jessie. You are a strong and courageous woman. God Bless You.

message 46: by Jessie (new)

Jessie Cumpson | 233 comments It took a long time but a stranger is the one that helped me get away. I will always remember that.

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

I haven't read the book yet, at least not for a while. I will be reading it tonight for I forget what the whole story line is LOL. I will jump back in the discussion tomorrow though I promise for tonight I WILL read the book even if I have to lock the door to my room to get peace and quiet.
