The first time I read my name in print was in 7th grade when I read The Chrysalids. I remember being thrilled and very surprised. LOL!

Petra by Letitia Coyne
Petra by Fabio Bourbon
Petra by Maria Krüger
and others... of course, they might all be hard to find or terrible books!

LOL! I just had to look:
The first is set in Petra but might be interesting. It has possibilities.
The second is about Petra, Jordan.
The third is only in Polish, so I can't figure out what it's about.

It tells the story of your entire life, from beginning to end. But in Polish.

LOL! By the way, I also think it is a beautiful name! My name was popular around the time I was born -- several others in my elementary school class, although some of them were spelled Lesley. I would rather be unique than one of a crowd ;)

I do agree; but for kids it can be a problem sometimes to be the "odd one out"

The book The Far Pavilions by M. M. Kaye is seriously one of my favorite books of all time... should definitely give that a shot.
