SOLVED. YA Fantasy Novel Involving Coming of Age of Girl and Romance and Hunt Scene where the Girls Run and Boys Chase Them

I only remember one scene, but it is bothering me! There is a girl (maybe of high status) and her coming of age arrives at a time when this annual tradition is happening in which she is taken into the woods by a group of women and prepared for this weird hunt (which I'm pretty sure involved medieval shrooms and lavender oil). She is chased by this boy she'd been flirting with, but he didn't catch her. Then, after, they were dancing together and her father (maybe a king or lord?) didn't like it so they sat down and had ale together. It's really bothering me, so help would be appreciated! I'm pretty sure one of the names started with L and another with A? Not sure though.
