Briana Griswold (bibliophile_bri) This thread is for us to gather prior to reading The Joy of Missing Out: Live More by Doing Less by Tonya Dalton. I'd love to take the time to really get to know each other prior to the read!

Briana Griswold (bibliophile_bri) Hello everyone! Who's excited about the book?! I've been inspired by Tonya for quite some time now and I cannot wait to see what insight she has included in her first book.

I ordered the signed copy from Barnes and Noble (the book nerd in me couldn't help herself). But also found out today that I'll be receiving a launch team copy! This is super exciting to me because I love scribbling all over my books but don't want to "ruin" them, so now I'll have a pretty copy AND a working copy! Nerdy, I know...

Is anyone else here part of the Launch Team?

Jennifer Lester (jennayloo) | 2 comments Oh! My! Goodness!!! I ordered from Amazon and had NO idea there was a signed copy available! I’m nerding out over here and praying for a book tour so I can get an autographed copy! 😍 lol might order the signed copy too- I can totally see me gifting this book to everyone in my life!

I am 36 from WV and I am married with one 8 year old daughter and 2 dogs, a cockatiel, and a whole flock of chickens! I love adventuring and trying new things.

I was so surprised and excited to be part of the launch team- I’m already planting the seeds with my friends that just seem so overwhelmed that help is on the way! I had planned to shout it from the rooftops even if I wasn’t selected for the launch team because this movement is THAT important. I knew when I had listened to the preorder bonuses that I would be chomping at the bit to finish reading! Can’t wait for the advance reader copy!

Amanda (amandastarg) Hi I'm Amanda. I'm a work from home tech developer/manager but I'm due any day with our first baby. I'll be off for the remainder of the year and wanted to be on the launch team but I'll be too busy to put my heart into it. But excited to have this group to check in on.

I've been using IWP planners since 2015. I'm a big fan of the podcast and also Emily Leys book so I'm excited for Tonya to have her own and a practical book for this time of change in my life!

Hazel Charquist | 2 comments Hi! I'm Hazel and my third and last child is a senior this year. I've ben maried for 29 years. My husband just recently retired se we can do more mission work and travel. I've always been organized with my time and tasks, not so much with my house. I just bought a planner at Home Depot and then went on the website that they mentioned in the insert. So I am brand new to this.

I am going to seminary right now and have a break before the fall semester, so I am binge listening and reading her stuff. Not on the launch team because I don't know enough about her to endorse her stuff. However, I like what I have heard so far.

Carrie LaFontaine | 1 comments Hi! I'm Carrie. I'm a project manager for a large electrical distribution company. I have two boys who are 12 and 5. I am also part of the launch team and am super excited to get the book and start reading.

Tonya has been a huge inspiration to me for the past few years. I discovered her right after my husband passed away when I was feeling lost. I was part of her first LiveWell class and it helped me make changes and set goals that have put my life in motion and given me back a feeling of accomplishment.

Now that I know there is a signed BN copy I'm going to have to order that! I have one on order from Amazon but I think I will leave that order open and gift it to a friend who could use some Tonya in her life.

Briana Griswold (bibliophile_bri) So nice to meet you ladies! I've also been using the IWP planners since the beginning. They are essential to me feeling productive and accomplished.

Robin (hrrobinb) | 3 comments Hi ladies! I'm Robin. I am a wife (just celebrated 11 years) and mom of 3 grown children (plus one super sweet daughter in law). I work in the Human Resources department of a company that will be shutting down in December.

JOMO is coming out at a perfect time for me with all of this transition going on in my life. I am on the launch team and CANNOT wait to get my hands on it. I have been an Inkwell Junkie since the very beginning and am so excited to spread the word and contribute to the #jomomovement.

Well, now I'm off to the BN website to snag an autographed copy of the book. Also hoping for a book tour with a stop near me so I can get my launch team copy autographed as well!

Nice to meet you all and looking forward to reading through the book with you all!

Briana Griswold (bibliophile_bri) I'd like to host a real-time Pre-Read Session to get to know one another. Initially, I was thinking we can just do a facebook chat, but I heard FB is getting rid of that feature for groups... SO I was thinking Skype as it's free, a lot of people already use it and we can utilize a group chat and down the road if we are comfortable that can be converted to video chat. Or we could simply pick a time and log onto Goodreads together!! Who's interested? I posted a group poll for this!!
