Okay. She's one of my characters, head of technology for the Resistance. He mom was the head of Res until the Council killed her and Cinder's Brother, Richard (who actually faked his death and joined the council as Aris Manday but was recently sent to the Asylum). She gave the Res 2 weeks to figure out how to destroy the council, then got herself caught as a distraction. She's only 19 by the way. And the Council interrogated her, and decided to send her to the Asylum. Before that though, Cinder told Devon that her mom was part of the Res, then punched her. In the Asylum, Marik came to interrogate Cinder some more. He shot her in the leg, she spilled info. He was about to kill her then a fight happened and Marik was shot and Cinder thrown back into the Asylum before she could escape.

So I think that my council member Thana could possibly die in this upcoming Resistance plan. And I need some ideas for Frost's background, because I want it to be some sort of conspiracy, but I'm not sure how to work it in. Also, I know there was a monarchy that was overthrown by the Council, but how did this happen (I've also heard there were two survivors?)

Look under Reference. That has the most detailed info on it. Night Glow, Isolde Maeve Hayes, and Rhiannon Ula Hayes are all descendants of the royal family. Marcus Whitethorn is descended from the nobles.

There is a lot to keep track of though, no lies there.

Plan-wise, not much exists. We need to get people onto the Resistance Meeting. Someone needs to make an Assembly Hall for the celebration of the Council's 1000th anniversary. And that's about where we are. There is no actual verdict on which side wins yet.

I sort of want her to be involved in some sort of royal family-related cover-up by the Council but I don't know how that would work. Are the Council aware who the descendants are?

No one is really meant to be aware of it -- after all, it's been a thousand-year long secret. Maybe with a lot of effort it could be trace. DN would be the most likely to spend the time necessary to do that.
