I have a weird hatred towards love triangles; however, I don't mind it in this series. In my opinion she had a understandable reason for it. To be honest the ending was still extremely heart breaking.

omg! TID makes life o much easier to understand! also it helps give background info about a lot of characters and helps you get a feel for what the author is like.
TID is a MUST READ.

the main character in Lady Midnight (Emma Carstairs) plays a role in The City of Heavenly Fire but she is only 12 yrs old. she loses her parents in the City of Heavenly Fire. :(
