I probably read this book when I was in Middle School - between 2005-2009. It's about three women who live together in a coastal town and are fraudulent psychics/mystics who swindle locals into believing they are talking to their deceased loved ones. They adopt a little girl (around 10 years old?) to help with their most complicated hoax yet and impersonate the ghost of a woman's young daughter who drown She wears a white dress with a red ribbon around the waist and a ribbon in her hair and sings "Shall we Gather at the River" which was the deceased girl's favorite song... at one point they go into town and eat chocolate ice cream - I can't for the life of me remember how it ends but this is definitely the plot... if anyone knows what I'm talking about please let me know!!
