Realistic Fiction. Intellectually gifted kid whose dad dies was curious as a child, he is molested by his teacher but they later make up. He meets a Chinese girl somewhere whom he falls in love with. Female author. Read around 2014.

The book is about a intellectually gifted kid and his life. So first it talks about his childhood, I remember him doing stuff like showing his privates to a girl and the girl reciprocating because they were both young and curious. The kid's father basically explains things to him and feeds his inquisitiveness but he dies one day. Later, the kid is taught stuff by his teacher and they form a good relationship. The kid wakes up to his teacher molesting him and he feels violated so he moves somewhere one day. He then has a sexual relationship with this lady in a hotel and after he leaves, he goes to Korea. After Korea he meets a Chinese girl whom he falls in love with. By the end of the story, the girl commits suicide and the main character moves back. That's basically most of what I remember?
