YA Science Fiction/Mystery Two stories in one book first story contains african voodoo and murder. Second story contains time travel, space command centers, and video games

{Spoilers Ahead} First story was about a girl who lived in this area where there's a waterfall as a major landmark and a lot of killings has been happening recently. She has a classmate who's a transfer student from Africa and this guy tells them that something evil was causing the murders. Apparently it was another girl who turns into a bird (or something similar) from African lore and that she was cursed. Second story was about a dude developing a strategy video game where there's a space shuttle destroying/protecting earth. He meets a girl in the store where he buys video games and becomes friends with her and her brother. They become friends and he goes stargazing with them in a cave near the girl's house. The girl was apparently his wife in the future and she says that the whole video game he was developing was real and he destroyed the earth. In the end the guy finishes his game and it becomes popular especially in schools because it shows the importance of strategy in warfare or something that could defend/destroy the planet.

Pretty sure this is Bound To You by Christopher Pike, which is a 2-in-1 edition of Spellbound (the murder story) and See You Later (the video game story).
