No he'll be back for sure. There's still a 6th book after this one comes out so it will be interesting to see. The limited edition with the first chapter of SB comes out on Nov 26th, at the end of Vampire Acadamy.

Honestly, I think some of those covers look cooler than the vamp academy cover I have.

Personally I think it would suck if Dimitri didn't turn back.
okay... first of all people need to learn how to spell names correctly. Adrian and Dimitri... Okay and second of all people following the book I am writing there is a cover!!!!!!!! and third of all the reason I started this topic (lol):I think theyre going to wind up turning Dimitri back in spite of everything that has happened between them in Blood Promise

Well, as 4 d 6th book as much as I gathered its coming out December 9th, 2010... I find that dimitri might not be turned back 2 being a dhampir instead he'll have 2 wear some kind of spirit-charmed object to be like himself again(like when he touched d ring-and still being a strigoi) I know that rose & dimitri are soulmates when they were both dhampirs but since dimitri lost his soul from turning strigoi I don't think its possible but then again I love how Richelle Mead do her twists on her books that's why its a page Turner every time... We'll just see I guess once Spirit Bound comes out in May 2010
That's an intresting theory that Dimitri may not turn but will have to wear something that's charmed to be himself. I never thought of that.
It's something to kinda tide us over as far as theories go...

tasha is about 14 years older than rose.. so about 11 years older than adrien.... thats more than a bit i think... and off the wall... honestly i dont think we will see much of tasha anymore...
I think she's going to come back sometime or another at least for a little while and hopefully Eddie will come back too.

I read chapter 1 of Spirit Bound and I LOVE it! I could go on and on about what I think will happen in this book. I think that Dimitri will be saved somehow and he and Rose will be together. The reason I don't think Rose will stay with Adrian is because in chapter 1 Rose is still bent on saving Dimitri, she still thinks about him and still loves him. She is giving Adrian a chance. It's helping him curve his questionable habits like drinking. I think that Adrian is like Mia and Mason in a way, they all play or had once played a smaller part in Rose's life. In the end though both Mia and Mason made a big impact that changed things for Rose,I thik Adrian will do the same but he and Rose will not be together. I do not have anything against Adrian, sadly I just have the feeling that he is going to die but not by Dimitri's hand. Hopefully I am wrong and Adrian won't die. If he doesn't die I think Adrian will end up with Tasha Ozera. In Frostbite we are introduced to Tasha aswell as Adrian. I don't recall them ever meeting eachother in Frostbite but I think they will get together because we never herd what happened to Tasha after Dimitri declined her offer. I will continue with my theories for what I think will take place in Spirit Bound in my next post below this one. -Jess
i think that dimitri will become dhampir again because of lisa but it would really suck if she breaks up with adrian
(crappy spelling coz im in a hurry)i love the series! i was wondering, if he does turn back to a dhampir , human or a moroi...what happens if he remembers what he did during his strigoi days and will he miss his addiction to power? ....and if he does, will he try to become a strigoi again?
(im a bit pissed off coz of dimitri's "hunger for power" and was a big turn off for me)

Don't think badly of Dimitri, because he's not himself right now. If he has a hunger for power after they cure him then I'll b pissed to, but right now its just kind of a uncontrolable side effect of being a strigoi.

Im sorry for you adrian lovers,but dimitri and rose are meant to be together.Soul mates for sure. Yea yea adrian is now super caring and he loves rose, but there's just not that "spark" rose and D had.
I ♥ Adrian! That would be so sad if Rose just drops him like that. Although i do believe Rose and Dimka should be together i can't help but feel sad for Adrian. Who will he have to love?

Okay I'm thinking that Dimka will absolutely become dhampir again...my question is whether or not he can stay that way? I feel like spirit will only "cure" him temporarily and they will have to keep the Strigoi that's now part of him under control with repeated healing and charms...kinda the same way V was planning on using lissas spirit to repeatedly heal his disease. Ive seen several people say Dimka might become Moroi but the Moroi are born...not made. I'm going to be pissed if Dimka and Rose don't end up together...
I think it is totally possible for Dimitri to be a dhampir again, he is such a big character in the novel and there are so many fans, i really hope that he can be a dhampir again and i really hope that Dimitri ad Rose can be happy together again.

I don't think he will turn back into a dhampir...I think that Rose will use Lissa's spirit ability to make a charm for Dimitir so he can control his Strigoi tendencies. I remember back when Rose was thinking about how Dimirti had seemed different, more normal, when he was touching the ring that the other spirit-user had given her. Once she helps Dimitri, Rose will possibly lead a "Strigoi Reform" and have Lissa present it to the Royal Court and the Queen. The might even get the help of Victor in doing so? I don't know...just a WILD guess! :) I hope Dimitri and Rose end up together...but I doubt it and I think if they don't then her and Adrian will be happy.

I'm not sure if Dimitri will be dhampir again- I love dimitri and rose and dimitri better end up together at the end- they are totally soul mates- no offense to adrian- he seems great, but he's not her soul mate-sorry. And I'm actually annoyed she's dating him now, she needs to figure out how to help dimitri- I feel that she's turning her back on him- when she needed help in the past, he was always there for her. None of this is dimitri's fault- they went back into the cave in the first place b/c of rose's brilliant idea of rescue mission- and he got screwed! And honestly I'm not a big Lissa fan- she is self centered and just expect rose to do everything for her- and the whole moroi and always putting them first- really??? Nobody has questioned that all this time? I mean dhampirs are nothing more than their servents, their sacrificial lambs or something. I don't want dimitri to be dhampir again- he has a lot of pride and he should be his own man. And I also feel that all this time they've been taught that all strigoi are evil- I think they're wrong- there's probably some good in the bunch- especially when they learn to control their urges. I don't think dimitri could ever kill rose- whether he'll say it out loud or not, he loves her even as strigoi. Not sure why he's writing these letters, maybe there is some type of motive to make her think that this is his intentions for some reason??? Either way, can NOT wait till Spirit Bound, and if dimitri and rose do NOT end up together at the end of it all, I will be really disappointed- after all, we have to believe that love conquers all- and Mead has to show this in these books, that some how dimitri and rose perservere thru all this b/c their love for eachother is so strong! Gah! Can NOT wait till May 18th! Too long!
you guys are forgetting that the dhampir dimitri is repulsed with the idea of innocent people being killed...if he turns back i think that he'd be devestated because he killed so many people when he was a strigoi... it would take him a lllooonnnggg time, if never, to get over that...

It is up to Mead to choose the fate of these wonderful characters in this facsinating novel. So people your going to have to wait this unbarable amount of time until Spirit Bound comes out. 17 days left not that im counting.

I think Damitri will be back to normal cause if not it wouldnt be interesting. i already told my parents there taking me to boarders on the 18th to go get the book then ill be reading non stop. trust me i couldnt put the first four books down and i dought mead will let her fans down now. mead u should really keep writing. ur books are better than the twilight series. thanks for writing such great books. hope i can write as good as u and get my books published. maybe i will. it would be cool.
His hair isn't gross and anyways he has a great personallity.

Adrian is great, but he is more of a best buddy kind of guy...Rose and Dimitri just belong together. If they arent together in the end I will be so disillusioned. I hope Mead doesnt break my heart!

i think that adrian will end up with victoria if she and dimitri get back together..uhh but it pissed me off so much when victoria said rose knew nothing about love!!
woohoo Adrian all the way. every book keep saying that theres going to have a lot of changes on vampire tradition. adrian and rose is one change that should happen.

i think that the way dimitri is going to get cured back is like maybe they have to get 4 spirit users and enchant a stake and use it to kill dimitri, but it won't 'kill' him it'll bring him back to life. anyone get it? like maybe they have to get spirit users to heal dimitri since spirit users can bring back the dead and technically dimitri is dead. i haven't read spirit bound yet but. oh well
OMG! I JUST KNEW....i knew dimitri was goin to be a dhampir again!! i just hope rose doesn't drop adrian...i've grown to like his character since the second book!!! he's special to rose!!! imma not a dimitri hater or nothin but i think after everything rose has been through (it's sort-of his fault) she deserves some relaxation!!! but she's goin to jail!!!
I'm freaking out over here. I finished spirit bound and at the end my mouth was practically at the floor. i wanted so bad to find out what happens. Ithink rose should end up dimitriand I'm really mad at him for acting this way but i guess i figured he would. but I don't want rose to leave adrian hanging because I think he's so sweet wit how he treats rose. He should fall in love with someone else and then he won't be hurt over rose because then he would've found his soul mate. Things are so interesting and I can't wait FIVE MONTHS for the last sacrifice!!!!! I JUST CAN'T!!!!!
