Is it possible that Dimitri is dhampir again?
i think Dimitri should be turned because he and rose are in love. and if thats him on the cover of Shadowkissed then he is cute. and so is christian. (kind of)

However Dimitri doesn't look like how the book described. where's his pony tail? his hair isn't as long as she had described. I can't say too much about the face. I don't think she went into huge description of it.
But like she can't kill him off cause he's one of the biggest characters so maybe rose does get with adrian(Sadly) and the attack gets closer and he comes and sees them and is heartbroken and traps rose but this time he doesnt shower her with gifts and isnt careful with her and uses her to get to lissa so the final dragmoir will be killed so maybe lissa gets back with lik christian and they become trapped in the school with everyone else and roses mother dies (i know doesnt make a lot of sense but still)

So the real good Dimitri is still in there, it's just being blocked by the Strigoi side of him.
I don't think Dimitri will choose to be one himself, because his true self despises Strigoi. The only reason he doesn't want to be changed now is because he doesn't have a soul and it's in a Strigoi's nature to want to kill and be powerful. If Dimka turns back Dhampier (which I truly hope) yeah he's probably going to remember what he did, but I think he will be upset with himself, not want to go back to being an evil Strigoi. But I don't know what Rose is going to do with Adrian, but i'd rather her be with Dimitri. Maybe Mead will find someone else for Adrian or it's possible he could be another Mason. You know try and save the girl he loves and ends up dying for it (hope he doesn't die though, i love Adrian.)
omg i would love to for dimetri to become normal again so he and rose can have what they had. it litterly broke my heart to see that happen to him. i hope for a cure
I hope so. But if he becomes dhampir again, will he go back to his normal self that we all know and love or will he be like he was as a strigoi. I hated him like that. I love the old Dimitri better. For a while I was all for Rose killing him and staying with Adrian. But I hope Dimitri goes back to his old self. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

If Dimitri does find a 'cure' i don't think he's going to be anything like his Strigoi self. If anything he will just be depressed and be upset with himself for everything he did. Like killing all of those innocent people for their blood.

i dont know i mean wat kayla nicole said makes total sense. dimitri understood while he was dampir that even though its still taking a life he needed to kill the strigio to protect the moroi but if he gets turned back into a dampir i dont think he will be able to handle that he was one of those monsters that killed the innocent and he fed off of rose and did hurt her even though he didnt kill her he'll still feel horrible and therein depressed and upset!!!!!
u guys get overwhelmed to much its goin to be a disappointment because we have to wait for another book in 2011 which is the 6 and last

Adrian isn't bad at all. He's always there for Rose even she blows him off. Dimitri tried to be there but of course he became a strigoi. Deep down he still loved rose but strigoi insticts got in the way. I don't think he would actually try to kill rose. He couldn't have lost his old self completely.

Adrian seems sexy enough to me, but obviously no where near as sexy ad Dimka, but still he's not yuck. He's just not, in my opinion, for Rose.

that's exactly how i feel i think adrian is one of those guys that when you give in to him and give him what he wants he wont want you anymore i can see if rose would give in and be with him ( which i totally dont want to happen) that adrian would use her then move on. i know he says that he has changed and all that but im not really sure if i believe him. that's just my opinion though! :)
Hm. Yes, I think it is possible for Dimitri to turn back into a dhampir. But, the question is, will he?
We know that Mead hinted on using spirit on Dimitri...but will she do that? Choose something that obvious? I don't know.
But, I do hope he gets turned back. I think he will go back to his original self, or, close enough to his original self. I do not think he'll really remember being a Strigoi. I think this because remember in the 4th book? He didn't really remember anything that Rose did? So, I think if he gets turned back into a dhampir...he won't remember being a Strigoi that well. And if he does remember, I don't think that he would choose that over being with Rose. If he cares as much as we think he cares for Rose, he will choose to stay with her.
Another possibility is that he could turn back into a Moroi. Because...he's a vampire now...a complete vampire. If he was turned back, wouldn't he become a Moroi? Because, I'm not sure if you could turn him back all the way to a dhampir when he's 100% vampire now. So, he could be turned back into a Moroi...and maybe Rose could be his guardian (if they stay together, I hope they do), and then they could get married and have kids and live happily ever after, in the end of the series.

Yes, I totally agree with you. When he is a Strigoi..he thinks the only way Rose and him could be together is by turning her into a Strigoi. What if he knew that you could change him back? I think he would choose that so then he could be with Rose....if he truly cares that much for her.

U guys if the author wanted diMitri dead she would have killed him in the 4 book but Now she wants to show how desperate she is to cure him I think they will cure him and since there is a 6 book the last it's probably saving lissa from victor after they use him to find his hAlf brother
I don't think the last book is going to be about Victor kidnapping Lissa again, because for one that would basically be the Frost Bite all over again and I doubt Meed would do that. Plus Rose knows that there is a chance Victor could do something dumb like that so I’m pretty sure she’s going to take extra precautions. I think book six will be about trying to ‘cure’ all of the undead. The thing I’m wondering is though why doesn’t Victor know about his brother finding the cure and if he does know why hasn’t he told people so the Strigoi race can be eliminated. I mean that’s what his major goal has always been.

Okay. Personally I would hate for Rose and Dimitri to live as dhampirs again. That's just to Twilight happyily ever after, which does not seem at all like Mead. And super strong Dimitri as a weak Moroi? I don't think so. Mead might do it, but I can't see it in my head. I don't think he'll turn into a human either. I think that a) Dimitri will turn into a dhampir will a Strigoi soul and Rose will have to kill him, but I think its more likely that Mead will have them heal Dimitri, he will get his dhampir soul back, but physically be a Strigoi. What do you guys think?
i think that rose will have lissa heal dimitri. turning him back into a dhampire. then those two will get married, christian and lissa will get married. then they all go to live a the royal courts.
if any of this already happened, sorry, i still have to read blood promise. this person at the library has had the book for over a month now! so, i have to wait till they turn it back in.

And who doesn’t want a happy ending, I just can’t see the entire last book being about how Rose and Dimitri end up, because Meed seems to like a lot of action, twists and turns, so I think something big is going to happen before the happy ending comes.

Mead wouldn't just tell us about some Spirit user being able to bring people back from being a Strigoi if she did intend to save Dimitri. If she did that would be wrong on soooo many levels.
oh and why can like the Spirit users like combine forces to save him instead of having to go through Victor.
they might be able to it's just they don't know how its done yet so they probably haven't even totally thought about that yet

my sister wanted me to write a comment for her- she thinks that lissa will use spirit on dimitri and he'll turn back. then, rose and dimitri will live in that cottage rose keeps dreaming about. Lissa and christian will come to visit.she also said that adrian might help heal dimitri because he loves rose... personally i think dimitri should die and adrian and rose should live together in that house. that would be a great ending
