I didn’t want to say a thing but I wanted you to know that I was proud that you called out Woolrich in an earlier update. I was starting to think in those terms as well with 1/4 of the book left. Woohoo!! It’s interesting how we all (view spoiler)[were thinking it might be him but I still felt a little uncertain until the end.
I kept thinking, “He’s an FBI agent and his friend?!” But then that quote that Latasha said earlier in where you can’t bluff someone who isn’t paying attention. Parker wasn’t paying attention and we weren’t as well with Woolrich! (hide spoiler)]

It’s the next book in the Charlie Parker series after Every Dead Thing. Another detective/mystery series. The first was really good.

This seems to be unnecessarily prolonged. If you're listening to the audiobook like me, the last set of bad guys got their comeuppance a few hours ago and it seems like a new story has begun.
