I HATE not being able to use them for the spell-out. I also finally finished A Curse So Dark and Lonely today BUT I started it early September, misplaced my book, and found it 2 days ago so I finished it today. I don't think I can use it since I began it back then.

Hi! I'm back. I'm in the office again and I have WiFi at home now.

I'm trying to get all caught up here..

- I am almost done with A Wrinkle in Time (started on Sat)
- About 20% into Percy Jackson #4 (started on Sat)
- On schedule to start Invisible man tomorrow

I have 2 audiobooks that automatically borrowed from my library. The Escape Room and A Stranger on the Beach. Any ideas where I can try to place them? The ladder thing or spell it out?

For the ladder thing: what do you need and when do you want me to start?

You can start the ladder anytime. But you can’t start the spell out until we are done with the countdown stage and groups 1 and 2 of the Safezone stage.

We still aren’t done with the Countdown stage so you can’t start your invisible man book yet. You did sign up for The Battle of the Labryrinth for the Countdown stage. Is that the Percy Jackson book? If so then you should finish that book first. When all the Countdown books are done then you can start the Invisible man.

- What do you need exactly for the ladder?
- The Battle of the Labyrinth is for the countdown. Working on getting that done.
- I will hold off on Invisible Man. Jenny, can you let me know when I should start it? I have it on Hoopla, so whenever is fine.

For the ladder we need books that are

- over 250 pages
- do not end in a 0 or 1

I'll let you know when to start Invisible Man :)

so...I've switched books and am speed reading. I'll stay up late tonight (it's already 1 am) and just finish it first thing in the morning

Jenny, just to be 100% sure (lousy memory!), I KNOW I can't finish a book until Jill and Trisha finish their countdown books, but can I START reading them or do I have to wait to begin them?

◈Q: To clarify, you cannot start reading for the safezone tasks until the 10 countdown tasks are completed.
Or can we just not finish them before the countdown tasks are completed?
◈A:You can't start reading for the safezone groups until you have completed the countdown stage.
So consider this with the team as to how the countdown tasks are assigned so that the big readers take on more tasks (or higher page counts!)

When we're done with the Countdown stage, let's do Group 2, then Group 1, then Group 3. We can read for all three groups at once, but we have to finish Group 2 books first, then group 1, then Group 3. Does that work for everyone?
