Finished my first book for task over 400 pages and now starting my task 1 book. Title begins with O. I will update spreadsheet on my lunch break.
Plethora I’ll take the sci-fi since I’m going to use your book for it. It can work for my BARC challenge which I need Eighth for bookish. LOL
OK. As Carmen knows already my reading has been disrupted this week due to a car accident.I started on one that i thought would work for black, but it was just under the % required when i went and checked. So I started a new one this morning.
I also have started the NPR one.

I have Texas Secrets, which works for #5 but I won't likely have it finished until Friday. I will have Bluest eye done by tonight or tomorrow morning (cst). So it's really whether someone else thinks they'll get it done before Friday. I think if someone can, then go for it. Otherwise, I've got it queued up on my brand new fancy kindle. It's so great, this new kindle. My old kindle, which I loved, was the one with the keyboard that didn't have back-lighting. I never knew what I was missing.

I am almost done with title starts with O and have started the book for all the letters of cat in the title. My reading also got derailed a little. My daughter was home sick from school yesterday with tonsillitis so I didn’t get much reading time at all.

Aww.... poor girl, hope she mends quickly.My NPR audio is long, I've still got about 7 hours left.... I am hoping to get a good chunk in at work today and finish up on commute to be done this evening.
No countdown clock has posted yet this morning. But I suspect we will be finding out that we will be running short on time to finish the countdown stage.
So keep us posted in case it would be helpful for someone to jump in and read for one of the tasks quickly.
I hope your little one feels better soon. ☹️I will have The Bluest Eye done by tonight. I thought it would be like Beloved, which was deep but also a quick read, but it's not. Plus, I'm with my family I only see every two years (there's real downsides living across an ocean), so I can only read at night in bed. But I'm nearly done.

I started to copy over the countdown books read by the other groups. I had to quit when it started to go haywire, so I didn't get them all finished. I have my grandma's 81st bday tomorrow, so I won't be around at all, unless late at night. Family comes from all over, sometimes it's bigger than Thanksgiving.Sunday and Monday will be my last days with my family, so my checking in will be patchy. If y'all need to decide things or claim tasks. Don't wait for me, I'll take whatever's left.
I'll be back in jolly old England on Tuesday and my reading will go back to normal.

I've got one more book to work on but I'm going trying to complete a book for another challenge but will work on the book as soon as I'm done ☺

Since Keli isn't been to normal reading until Tuesday should we start with Safezone 2, becuase if I recall she doesn't need to read, three of us have to do the 4 tasks. And then we could do Safezone 1?Or skip those and just do words in zone 3 this time?
Hmm, I'm not sure. I haven't looked at any of the other tasks. Lol
As far as I can see, there is no requirement for all 4 players to complete a task in safe zone 1, we just need two books to be a prior BOM or something another team has read. I can do

I am planning on reading Frozen Stiff next for a few other challenges.While it has green writing, dead body nasty?, and green item it doesn't fit any other way. :(
I can start it and hold off finishing it for a few days to use in Zone 3 though.
