After she was awarded the Nobel in literature last year, I knew I needed to read this author. So, I bought "Dear Life", but still have not yet read it.

Sheila, this is for a "regular" sized book (not a chunky)?

I'm all for reading anything by Alice Munro, as well.
I've been very busy and haven't had time to participate in group reads, and I've missed the discussions. I'm looking forward to being a part of another one!
Time to vote. These are 5 excellent choices, so if we have decent interest, we will read the top 2.
The poll is here:

Here are your choices if you want to check them out before voting:
The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert
Let's Get Lost by Adi Alsaid
The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt
Thores-Cross by Karen Perkins
Dear Life: Stories by Alice Munro

The Voting is Complete! Our next two Group Reads are
November: Let's Get Lost, by Adi Alsaid
And for December: The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert
Our fearless leader for both of these books will be Irene. We will not have a group read for October to give everyone a chance to round up a copy of these, and be ready for the Nov. and Dec. discussions. I'm looking forward to reading both of these.

I'll get a thread set up soon. I've been out of town, and now need to get caught up. The discussion of Signature of All Things runs into the beginning of January, and with the craziness of the holidays, we may use the rest of January to let everyone get caught up and start our next new read in February.

We will be running a poll in a few weeks to select our reads from the books nominated.
