I am terrible at spring cleaning and decluttering. I finally hired someone to do it. Best decision ever!
I haven't really started spring cleaning too much yet because I'm currently going through a massive declutter. It has been a longer process than I'd like to admit but I'm keeping the end result in mind. I'm trying to get rid of stuff that no longer serves me to free up space and make my home way more cozy filled with only things that truly mean something to me or that I use regularly.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Have you started any spring cleaning or decluttering yet? What is your decluttering process? Do you have specific spring cleaning taks?"No, I don't really have anything to declutter. I do want to deep clean my apartment though. I kind of want to wipe down my walls and give it a thorough vacuum and mop. I also need to dust and wipe down my bookshelves / entertainment center.
QOTD: What is stopping you from making the change/getting what you want in life? Are you actively working on pursuing the life you want?
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What video game would you like to be stuck in for a month, and why?"I want to say Stardew but I feel like that's a lot of work and too much like real life (minus the cave fighting).
I don't think I have one.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What video game would you like to be stuck in for a month, and why?"animal crossing for sure
QOTD: Are there any TV shows or movies that are new or new-to-you that you've recently watched and loved?
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Are there any TV shows or movies that are new or new-to-you that you've recently watched and loved?"the last new-to-me thing i watched and loved was when marnie was there but that was back in like january lol
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Are there any TV shows or movies that are new or new-to-you that you've recently watched and loved?"New-to-me, I loved the first season of Feud on Hulu, it was about Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, and recently started Derry Girls on Netflix and its hysterical.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Are there any TV shows or movies that are new or new-to-you that you've recently watched and loved?"I haven't watched anything new recently, unfortunately.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What is your #1 goal for the week?"To keep decluttering my house. I'm hoping to get it finished by the end of the month, or at least the majority of it...fingers crossed.

QOTD: How do you set yourself up for success? Do you have a routine that makes you feel good? Do you have habits that help you feel less stressed?
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: How do you set yourself up for success? Do you have a routine that makes you feel good? Do you have habits that help you feel less stressed?"I think I have decided that I am a routine-based person, at least that's how I thrive best when it comes to productivity and getting around to doing all the things I need to get finished and the things I enjoy doing. It's all about balance. So, to set myself up for success, I have been going through a massive declutter and it has been quite a journey. Also, I'm trying to set up a morning and night routine for myself and sticking to it as much as possible. I feel like having set routines allow me to be more organized and less stressed. I also have started to embrace a slow living lifestyle, or at least a slower pace of living where I try to romanticize even the most mundane moments. I also like to carve out time to enjoy some of my hobbies like reading, cozy gaming, writing, and watching movies and tv shows, and traveling when I can.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What are your top three favorite fruit?"Strawberries

3. Plums (I never buy them because I forget, but anytime I do I devour them)
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What are your top three favorite fruit?"1. Gala Apples
2. Strawberries (farm fresh is best, sometimes store bought are not so great)
3. Mandarin Oranges
Bonus: Grapes and cherries

2. Grapes
3. Apples
Bonus: Strawberries and Peaches!
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: How do you set yourself up for success? Do you have a routine that makes you feel good? Do you have habits that help you feel less stressed?"I have a routine, at least for the mornings when I need to be at work early, that I follow that help me feel not rushed and calm by the time I get there, and a nighttime routine I follow to help me relax enough for bed. If I go on vacation or anything that causes me to deviate from those routines my entire week feels like chaos.
Some of my plans depend on the weather. If the weather is nice then I'll probably spend some time in the hammock with my kindle. I would like to enjoy a relaxing weekend of reading, gaming, writing, and watching movies/tv shows. I still need to spend some time working on my house and decluttering my office.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Do you have any fun, cozy, or bookish plans for the long weekend?"I need to clean my apartment, but other than that I don't have anything planned.
QOTD: Are there any books or projects that you're wanting to finish before the end of the month?
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Are there any books or projects that you're wanting to finish before the end of the month?"I'm in the middle of so many things. I can definitely finish Giant Days vol 2 by John Allison and probably The Shanghailanders by Juli Min. Those are probably my main priorities for the end of the month.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Are there any books or projects that you're wanting to finish before the end of the month?"I'd like to finish The Final Gambit by the end of the month so I can finish The Inheritance Games series.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Are there any books or projects that you're wanting to finish before the end of the month?"I'd love to get some more books read and my decluttering project finished.
LCPL wrote: "QOTD: Name 3 places you'd love to travel to."1. Edinburgh, Scotland

LCPL wrote: "QOTD: What was the highlight of the month for you?"Uhhh... watching my cute little plant grow a new leaf all month was cool. Not much happened this month lmao.
Seeing the northern lights earlier this month. I was able to take some pretty cool photos. Also, trying out local and independent coffee shops that I have became new favorites.
Prophet Song by Paul LynchGiant Days vols 4-6 by John Allison (I don't want to rush through the series)
Three Apples Fell from the Sky by Narine Abgaryan
A Mind Spread Out on the Ground by Alicia Elliott
Anything beyond that would be a miracle.
