That's a great Spring book rec. Also, I just watched the movie like a week ago and loved it.

A few books that I think are fitting for springtime are:
• The Hobbit - while this book would be great for fall as well, I think it's great for spring for new life, new adventures, and the setting at the shire is perfect for spring.
• The Midnight Library - this book could be read anytime of year but spring is a great time to see a new look on life while new life is budding all around you.
• The Ten Thousand Doors of January - another great read for any time of year, but the descriptions of the world and the adventures that January goes on are perfect for spring reading.
• When the Moon Hatched - this is a great fantasy romance to enjoy during the spring. I read this in spring and thought it was very fitting.

Normally, I would use a lawn blanket and take a water bottle or iced coffee and my current read and enjoy the warm sunshine while I read, or go to the park. However, I recently got a hammock and I'm excited to use that for my outdoor reading. I think it will definitely be my go-to outdoor reading space.

Other than at the park, I don't really have a spot to go outside and read at home. Too many barking dogs.

Inside, I just curl up on the couch with a blanket and read.

more. winter really drags me down so spring is probably my favorite season for getting things done

I feel more motivated in the spring. I love the coziness of the winter season but I definitely miss the warmer weather and sunshine. I try to enjoy each season for what it is and what it has to offer, but the spring season is always a welcome change (minus the tornadoes).

I don't think I'm more or less motivated during any season lol. I do more in the spring only because it's not cold, but I don't think that has anything to do with motivation.

I don't have a dedicated springtime scent, but I tend to prefer more clean smells, or citrus type smells during the spring. Oh, and I love bergamot, for spring and summer.

in general i just prefer springy scents. i love fruit and floral smells. my lotion right now is supposed to be peach scented. i dont know that it is lol but it smells good

I like floral scents in general, so lots of lavender, rose. I put Lemongrass in my oil diffuser during the spring/summer seasons.

It honestly depends on my mood and time of day, but I have the most time on the weekends. I enjoy making myself a cup of coffee or tea, putting on an ambience video to play in the background, and getting lost in a book. I also enjoy journaling and writing to penpals if I'm in a mood to write. I try to use the weekends as a time to really embrace my hobbies. I'm looking forward to better weather so I can spend my weekends in my new hammock with a book or my kindle.

Here lately I've been making dinner and then playing Stardew Valley for 3-4 hours after work. Then, if I have the energy to do anything else, I'll work on my puzzle while watching something on YouTube.

Any quiet or alone time in general helps for me. I try to cut back on screen time and do something else as well, like knitting or sitting outside if it's nice out.

A few off the top of my head...

Places:
• the beach...the ocean literally soothes my soul
• the lake...there's something about being near the water
• the forest...being out in nature is so peaceful
• the mountains...a vacation to a cabin in the mountains is so relaxing and peaceful, plus beautiful views and scenery

Activities:
• reading, especially on a sunny day in my hammock outside
• writing/journaling by the soft glow of my desk lamp
• enjoying a beautiful sunrise/sunset
• camping...I may be adding camping to this list - we plan on going camping for the first time soon and I think being out in the nature and just enjoying time away will be very peaceful.

Playing Stardew Valley with a beverage and snack and a video on youtube or an audiobook book playing. I can't really think of anything else. I guess reading in my car is peaceful too.

Multiple concert dates in July, August, and September. I’d like to go to the Cincinnati Zoo, as I’ve followed Fiona’s story since she was born 7 years ago but haven’t made it there to see her yet (and now there’s also cute little Fritz!). Went to Indy a few weeks ago to the immersive Dali Alive exhibit at The Lume, which was incredible.

Ollie's in Corbin, but it's hit or miss. PangoBooks or Amazon for online, and then I always browse the books at thrift stores.

i buy a lot of my books used so i'll buy them from goodwills, second-hand book stores, and thriftbooks

I do a few things to sell what I can of them. I list them on PangoBooks, Facebook book groups, or I will take them to McKay's or Half Price Books. When I donate what's left or donate ARCs, I will fill up little free libraries or donate to the library.

I buy new and used books. I will buy from bookstores, Amazon, book subscriptions (Fairyloot and Illumicrate), thrift stores - McKays, Half Price Books, Goodwill, PangoBooks, Facebook book groups, etc.
