Krystyna wrote: "271. Are there any books that you wish you had never read? Why?"A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess It was so awful and took forever to erase it from my mind.
Krystyna wrote: "272. Do you listen to physical audiobooks or e-audiobooks? Where do you get them from?"What are physical audiobooks? Tapes?
I rarely listen to e-audiobooks. But when I do, I get them from Amazon.
Krystyna wrote: "272. Do you listen to physical audiobooks or e-audiobooks? Where do you get them from?"I listen to e-audiobooks. I get them from Hoopla, overdrive, Libro.fm, Scribd. Anywhere I can, basically.

Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough and Come Closer by Sara Gran. Both of those books are awful, and I try not to think about them.
No, I haven't started decorating/I don't decorate my bookshelves. I'm not sure that I will decorate at all this year.
Krystyna wrote: "275. Have you started decorating for Christmas yet? Do you decorate your bookshelves?"Yes! We actually decorated early this year because we have 2 little ones that just couldn't wait another second. I don't decorate my bookshelve, but you just gave me an idea!!
I have not decorated yet. Year round, I keep two little Christmas statues on the bookshelf. If I manage to put up outside lights this year, I might leave them up year round.
December TBR (completely flexible)- A Time for Mercy by John Grisham
- Magic Lessons by Alice Hoffman
- The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop by Fannie Flagg
- The Girl Who Was Taken by Charlie Donlea
- A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
- The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai
Mind the Gap, Dash & Lily by Rachel CohnOff the Ice by Julie Cross
The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss
A book that I think is a perfect comparison to a cup of hot cocoa is Greenglass House by Kate Milford. It's a beautiful middle grade story that takes place in the winter, over Christmas break. It has a bit of a mystery, found family, and very cozy descriptions.
What Light by Jay AsherThe book follows Sierra who's family owns and operates a Christmas tree farm. It would be a perfect winter, Christmas read with a good cup of hot cocoa!
I don't think I've ever read a Christmas book. I guess I would say The Weight of Ink by Rachel Kadish. It's a long book that you wouldn't want to read quickly. You sip on it here and there--just like you would with hot cocoa.

Omg yes! That one is perfect. I really enjoyed that book. I may try to reread it at some point this month.

Krystyna wrote: "278. What characters would you like to invite over for Christmas dinner?"Dracula
Mr. Penumbra
Annie Freeman
Lily Ivory and Oscar
Krystyna wrote: "279. Where does your current read take place?"My current reads are nonfiction so there is no place setting for these two books.
The only character I can think of is maybe Hazel from Josh & Hazel's Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren.
What Light by Jay Asher. My best friend has always wanted to buy a Christmas tree from a Christmas tree farm. This book would be perfect for her this holiday season!
A Christmas Carol. The one with Patrick Stewart is really good. And the musical with Albert Finney is great. I watched the Muppet version for the first time this year, it was very good.
I don't have any favorites that I can think of. I'll typically watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles in December, but it's a Thanksgiving movie lol.
Krystyna wrote: "What is your favorite Christmas song?"Underneath the Tree by Kelly Clarkson is always a bop.
If I finish one more book I'll be happy. I finally met my GR reading goal, so I'm satisfied either way.
I just completed my Goodread's reading goal! I would like to at least finish one more book and I will be happy!
