EDIT: I checked no one found the book I was looking for. The description are similar but lead to Jumanji, The Forbidden Game and a book by MT Anderson.
That one looks very familiar, I will check it out.It also brings to mind a book with a very similar cover but was called Maze or something.

I read it maybe 8 years ago.I don't remember if it was a new release or somehting old I picked up.
The cover for Game of Goose was this one, it looks like the cover for another book I am looking for called Maze or something like that but I don't remember the author for maze.
A long shot, but could it be The Egypt Game by Zilpha Keatley Snyder?

I saw someone else was looking for a similar book, and it turned out to be Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library.
I will check that out and see although I thought it was a more mature YA book.

The only thing I remember about the cover is I think it was blue or green.I will check out Only You Can Save Mankind and see if that is it.

No. The cover of the Goose book looks like the Maze book I was thinking of. Maze Runner's cover looks nothing like it.
