Hey guys! So I’m trying to find a book for my brother. He read them back around 1996.
It was a YA level book, in that the main characters were about 14 to 16 years old.

The plot followed a kid who was a secret agent, and his name was Eric. He had a sister who eventually started helping out, too, but my brother can’t remember her name.
There was also another boy, the same age with the same birthday, named Erik, and my brother thinks both kids parents had the same names too. Erik was just a regular teenager.
The first book followed this group of people who were secretly raising lizards and selling the meat as chicken. Eric was supposed to be sent to investigate, but Erik was accidentally sent instead.

That’s all the main plot points he remembers, but does this sound familiar to anybody?
