I honestly never thought I'd see the day that we'd have a big glossy illustrated magazine devoted entirely to sword & sorcery fiction. That couldn't be sustained even back in the 1970's.
And not only are a couple more issues in the works, they're now offering subscriptions.

The Kickstarter updates, most by the Skull himself, are pretty damn funny, but the latest few have our imperious undead host apparently replaced by an impostor whose creative vision is drastically at odds with that of the Skull. And these are hilarious. The creators are clearly having a blast and it's pretty infectious.

Now featured in the updates are several essays about Sword and Sorcery which I recommend even if you have no interest in the Kickstarter itself.
William King wrote about his favorite Sword and Sorcery story and C.L. Werner turned in an excellent look at REH's Valley of the Worm.
I wrote a little piece on my favorite Sword and Sorcery book cover. With all due love for the greatest fantasy artist of all time, the cover was not painted by Frank Frazetta.
Only three days left on the Kickstarter.
If you like this genre enough to be here reading this you owe it to yourself to at least take a little look.

Because it's not available at all. It's been sold out. I looked for a copy myself off & on all week. In fact, if any of y'all reading this have an extra copy or know of someplace I haven't looked and I've looked everywhere please contact me. But maybe contact Richard first since he asked first! ;)
*Willing to pay up to $50 for a paperback edition.
