Need help finding a book by description only

Hello, I'm looking for the name of a book
It is about the cure of all diseases but if You miss getting this particular cure you are considered an outcast? Sorry it's not much to go on that's all I remember about in the description I don't know if outcast is the correct phrasing all I know is you had to hide because you weren’t a noculation correctly.
