Silas is totally a demon and I'm just waiting for the girl to get the hint that book is trying to shove down her throat. I think Finch had something to do with that grimoire escaping and turning into a maledict or whatever. I don't trust him at all and he's an asshole (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 19 (view spoiler)[ Oh man what a whirlwind this has been!! So much has happened and I'm really enjoying it. I was kind of sad that a good portion wasn't in a library but now Elisabeth is back at one, I couldn't be happier. I have a feeling that Nathaniel's deal with Silas hinges on him producing an heir/falling in love. I hope Elisabeth will be able to pull off taking down Ashcroft. I worry for her friend who's under Finch's power. (hide spoiler)]

First impression: I’m super excited for this book. I’m skimming through the first chapter right now and it seems like a really interesting story with interesting characters!

So far I really like it. I’m on chapter 5 right now. The main character is really interesting.

This book is so much fun. I’m almost finished with it. I love the relationship between Elisabeth and Nathaniel. They are just too cute! Although i was a little annoyed at Nathaniel at first because he was so standoffish towards her at first.

Just finished it. It’s always a sign of a good book when it almost pains you inside to have finished it. I loved the ending, and I truly felt for each of the characters. This was so well written that I thought I was inside the book with them! This is going on my favorites list for sure!! I think my favorite character was Silas. Being able to turn into a cat seems like so much fun. You could easedrop on convos and no one would suspect a thing ;)
