Canadians can get them. They just pay more in shipping. Which is why if someone from Canada wanted to enter they'd just have to pay the overage for shipping. I'm paying $28 to send this book to Keri. Someone from Canada has to pay like $37 and the UK people have to pay like $43 total.

You have Sims 4 for PC right? If you do it's a new update. If you are starting again it should have come up. It's where you can take 'quiz' while making sims. (Only works for Elder, Adult and Young Adult) and you can get a higher than average salary, a job, and your traits and some skills.

Maybe that's what turned me off? 37 for shipping is a lot. I like signed books but that's almost 3x the price of a Mass Market Paperback

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 5349 comments Oh my gosh! Those are exorbitant shipping costs! I had no idea!

message 555: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I don't order from the US a lot so I don't know if that's a lot or usual. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Still wouldn't pay that much.

Oh yes! I know what you're tlaking about. But no, I play on my Xbox. I made a new character the other day and it tried doing that for me and I was thinking "wtf is this shit". So I backed out and told it to let me make my person myself. Lol. That's half the fun! Making your character and your house! Lololol.

message 557: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments No no no! Guys, lmfao. It's $37 TOTAL for shipping AND the book. The book is $20. So the shipping is $17 to Canada. It's $8 anywhere in the US. So only $9 more to ship to Canada.

If a Canadian would have been the winner then they would've had to send me $9 to cover the extra shipping since I'm already paying $28 out of pocket for this giveaway.

message 558: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments So essentially a Canadian would've spent $9 for a personalized signed book...

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I'm having a difficult time finding both the time and motivation to do my reviews. I swear I will try to get them done tonight! Ruby has just been a handful since we started her Service Dog training. She doesn't like that she can't be petted by people anymore or play with other dogs. It's a huge adjustment for her and for me.

Aww. What prompted the Service Dog training?

message 563: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Well she is six months now so she has kind of left puppyhood behind. It's not good to start too early or too late. Plus I got her vest and thought it would be a good time to start using it.

Mostly what I am doing now is teaching her 'ignore' which is almost the exact opposite of what we were doing. When a person or a dog walk by she has to 'ignore' them and keep walking. If she is sitting she has to look at me and not try to play with the dog. This will prepare her for when I need her to have me as her sole focus. I'm tring to do it in baby steps.

message 564: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I honestly think the new training has caused her to start acting out. She is barking a lot more and keeps peeing on the floor even when we let her out. I think she is letting us know she is mad. It could be something else too but it seems like a big coincidence if it's not the training.

message 565: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments @Vicki you posted in the wrong thread again, so I move it over for you ok, I just finished First Girl Child too so we should have Percy Jackson done tomorrow

message 566: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Okay so Melany motivated me a little. lol. I have written my review for Chamber of Secrets and have done my BR comments for the first book. So I'm started. Still making great progress on book 4!

message 567: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments LOL awesome!

message 568: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Finished book 3 review too! Woohoo! Now just BR comments for 2 and 3 to go!

message 569: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments LOL I just noticed if it ends up being Percy Jackson one of my books has been apart of every clue since I joined

message 570: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments GJ Melany! That is amazing luck!

message 571: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Lol that is some luck, watch now I've jinxed it!

message 572: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments Well that means I’m even more glad you joined our team Melany!

I need that motivation to do my reviews too. They’re all for clue 3 so I feel like it’s made me push them to the back burner but now they’re starting to pile up and I want them to be ready for posting when we get to clue 3!

Aw that’s so sad about Ruby, and funny even tho it’s not really funny that she’s showing you she’s mad. I’d have such a hard time with that training as well!! Do you train service dogs normally so you’re used to having to go from cuddles to detaching? I feel like that would make the process a little easier to do.

message 573: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments It's a little funny. lol.

It's really hard work. I don't do this regularly. I'm self-training her as my own service dog so I'm doing a lot by ear. I'm kind of just logically thinking of what she needs to know how to do and working from easy to hard. I still need to figure out what 'tasks' she can do for me and how to teach her how to do them. That will be among my last steps though so I have some time.

message 574: by Melany (new)

Melany (mel-mel-any) | 1409 comments Thanks guys and @bookworm I think you jump the gun we're not on clue 3 yet

message 575: by Felicia (new)

Felicia | 15003 comments Hi guys! You've found your suspect with Vicki and Melany's books, Percy Jackson! Congrats! You're onto the next clue!

*No scores or updates until probably Wednesday. I'm going away for the weekend. If you really, SERIOUSLY need to know if something is a part of your conclusion please ask Alaina to text me. (:

message 578: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments LOL!! We predicted this back when we were just ignoring Percer that of course it would end up he was our suspect!! Hahaha

message 579: by Kim (new)

Kim | 3510 comments I reposted my 2 reviews. Here we go Clue 3!

message 580: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Woohoo! So glad we got to clue 3! At this rate we might make it to 4 by the end of September. :)

message 581: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Will be moving my books over in the SS and will try to post some soon. Had a really bad night last night so I didn't finish my BR comments. I think I'll be up with Ruby a lot tonight but I have my computer in her room right now so I might get some comments done. :)

message 582: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Keri can we move your Sorceror's Stone to Platform 9 3/4 please? I can't find an easy cover of my next few HP books with train on them. I could look through 12 pages and maybe find one but I'm too lazy. 🤦‍♀️😂😁🤷🏻‍♀️

message 583: by Jammin Jenny (new)

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 3851 comments We’ll get bonus points too if we do that.

message 584: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments Yes that’s fine, I put it in Harry Potter for the bonus points.
How does it fit that one? It doesn’t have a train on the cover and is 322 pages...

message 585: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments Oh can I use any edition for cover and doesn’t have to be the one I’m reading?

message 587: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments Moved :-)

message 588: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Jammin Jenny wrote: "We’ll get bonus points too if we do that."

Awesome! I wasn't 100% sure if we would but I figured we might. I'll also be putting Order of the Phoenix there if I can. Or maybe move Chamber or Azkaban there as the other is a page count?

message 589: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments I thought it had to be the edition you were reading and mine doesn’t have one. But even if it did need to, I have the illustrated edition as well which I could switch too haha.
But now I remember that cover tasks could be any edition. I moved it already :-)

message 590: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments Hogwarts is an option too and I think all three of those will get us bonus points

message 591: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Okay so I have Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban to find spots for. I think I'll try to find an edition of Chamber for the other Platform 9 and 3/4's slot. I'll put Azkaban in MC is a witch?

message 592: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments I missed hogwarts!? O.o

message 593: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 9905 comments Does anyone remember if you can use any edition for 9 3/4? It doesn't say most rated edition.

message 594: by Jammin Jenny (new)

Jammin Jenny (jamminjenny) | 3851 comments It is any edition.

message 595: by Keri (new)

Keri | 1873 comments Great!!

message 596: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

OMG!!! LOL You guys must think I am SO DUMB!!! I think I'm just too busy! Yesterday I met a granddaughter coming from Arizona to Oregon (so she goes thru California where I live). She had her son, my great, and then last night was my 13 year old grandson's birthday party. Today my husband is off, I had a meeting, a grandson is training as a massage therapist (myofascial) so he came over from southern California (about 400 miles from us) and gave us both massage...nothing like a professional foot massage! LOL

Anyway, I also recently found out that I AM HAVING MY 21ST GRANDCHILD IN MARCH!!!! and yesterday we found out IT'S A BOY!!! It's my daughter's 6th child but she suffered 4 miscarriages last year. That's how badly they wanted one more. :) He'll be my 11th grandson. :) So the numbers are pretty even since I also have 10 girls.

I'll try to be more diligent, team!

Anna, I need all of you!!! LOL As you see from my last post and the wrong post, I posted it at 5:20 yesterday, I had a LOT of things and excitement going on, and I had to be there for Joey's birthday at 6:00 and it's a 30 minute drive IF there's no traffic but there always is at that time. My intent was good. LOL
