I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. It had a lot of elements that I usually don't like, but in this story it all seemed to pull together and work. I was a little dubious about how their relationship started, but overall enjoyed the end results. I can't wait to continue with this series.

Review: If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I'm still dazed and smiling idiotically from the effect this book has had on me. This feeling is why I love reading so much. This weird joyish feeling that I can't turn into words.
This story was as flawed as it was perfect. I laughed. I was sad. I was repulsed. I was disgusted. I laughed some more. I was hopeful. I just absolutely wonderfully LOVED it!! :D

Review: I absolutely loved how Richelle Mead wrapped up this series. The book follows Rose's attempts to find out who framed her for a murder, and there are tons of exciting chases and big gasp reveals of new information along the way. I especially enjoyed Lissa's side of things in this one. Great book and I am looking forward to the spinoff series!

You are going pretty well though - just two reviews outstanding (Ramneek & Logan) I think :)

Review: This was a toss up between 4 and 5 stars. On the one hand, it has a deeply emotional story that really tore me up in all the right ways. On the other hand, so much of the middle of this book dragged for me. When Crick goes off to Iraq there was too much time spent apart and I found I really didn't care much about their lives if they weren't together. That said, there were some really powerful revelations that come from this time apart, so it was useful to the story if not the most interesting part of the book. I could definitely have done without the horse/flood scene, though. Gah.

I've got a book ready for all but the decapitated head category. I can't decide if this will count.

Week #10: Option 1

Rating: 4 stars (3.5 stars)
This book is another gem I have discovered thanks to this challenge! The first 3/5s or so of this book was absolutely amazing and then all of a sudden it went a bit meh. The female protagonist started to get on my nerves and I guess the hero did too. I don't know why, I guess it was when they started to get a bit gushy and I found myself eye-rolling at times. I loved the setting of the circus but it would have been nice to have an equal balance of the animals and the actual circus performing. But, this book is still entirely unique and I'm so glad I picked it up!

We are all up to date now, so it will be a race to the finish.
As this is the last week, we wont know until the category is called which team we can pick an option 2 book from.
Also as this is the last week, I am planning to read a book as close to 100 pages as possible.

My shelf would be MM tbr

Review: I really really dislike cliffhangers, especially ones like in this book that don't even finish the story. Either write the whole book and sell it or don't bother. I'm glad I got this for free. Despite my frustration, Nick and Jack were a cute couple. They maybe had to endure a few too many weird escapades just to make it in Hollywood. Did I think the story was a little wild and hard to believe? Sure. But it was still entertaining and kept my interest. I won't bother to read on, however, because I'm still annoyed at having to fork over money to resolve the plot of this book. No thanks!

His Risk to Take
Rating:★★★
This was a nice opposites attract story. He's a cop and she's a pool player hustler. I really liked how the two met, and it was a sweet story. It was on the short side, so all the action felt rushed and hurried. But overall a good read.

Review: *3.5 STARS*
Man, Rubi drove me nuts in this. I understand her problems. Her dad was an utter d-bag, but still, I wanted to strangle her sometimes. But, she was so sweet under all of her walls. I was so glad that Wes was able to see her for who she was.
Now Wes wasn't perfect either, but I thought he was all in once he realized that Rubi was it. Rubi on the other hand had a lot of stops and starts. Like I said before, I understand it, even though it was frustrating.
They worked it out in the end though, and I can't wait for the series to continue. There were some smokin' hot scenes. Whew! And I loved the insight into these two characters that we only got to glimpse in the first book in the series. I was glad we got to see more of Lexi and Jax. They seem to be faring well in the whole relationship thing despite some bumps in the road.
The next one in the series should prove quite interesting. The mousy receptionist is going to blow everyone's minds I think. I'm really enjoying the adrenaline-lovin' men and the women who tame them.

Volley Balls
3 stars
A very quick, short story.
David, lives in Laguana and one day at the beach he runs into some gay hating Aussie volleyball players.
He runs away but later that day one of the players, Gareth seeks him out and comes out to him. Trouble is his volleyball partner hates gays.
Eventually, his partner realizes he is gay as well and the 3 of them end up in a menage.
This book was ok. Insta - love and the Menage happens so quickly.

Good job ladies .

Review:
A really quick book, it was hot and steamy but I didn't really enjoy it. It was good and at times the hero and heroine made it enjoyable but it didn't keep my attention which funnily enough made me read it faster as I didn't care to savour it. Well, I won't be reading that again...
