Yes, you can post it late. This won't be as important for these first weeks, but the last week, the winners are based on which team finishes first. So, it will be more important to finish quickly. Usually the winner is announced by the next day or so.

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments You stay with you selected book Arshiya. You can be 2 books behind the current theme and still be OK. But once the 4th theme is announced, you must have finished at least one of those outstanding books.

So, at the moment, you are fine :) You just can't change a selected book once I announce a new theme.

Book Read: A Girl by Any Other Name by M.K. Schiller by M.K. Schiller
Finished: 29th Sept
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
It was a very good love story. The mystery factor though definitely there, was not much. The remaining story made up for that though. Cal and Slyvie make one great couple. I couldn't help rooting for them.
The writing was very good too. All the emotional scenes were heart-wrenching and the love confessing scenes sooo romantic. The ending was beautiful too. I loved the way the author ended it with the dedication from Cal's book written for Slyvie. :')

Review: Cute story! I myself am often tempted to switch to a job that requires working with my hands, so I sympathized with Sean's desire to work in a bakery despite his schooling and experience. The side characters really made this one shine. I wish I had an Italian family!

This book started off a little slow for me, but it drew me in by the end. I love the world that Kate Daniels lives in. I wish there was more Curran in the story, but I know they're doing a slow burn. I'm also really curious to find out more about Roland.

Chain Reaction (Perfect Chemistry, #3) by Simone Elkeles
Rating: 5 stars
Review:
Aahhh! I love this series so much and so sad there will be no more books. Looking back on this book the events may seem similar to the first two books but it doesn't seem like that at all whilst reading it!
I love Simone Elkeles' writing style, it is so easy to read and I absolutely flew through the book. I'm glad she didn't stop writing about the other couples from previous books and she integrated them in the rest of the series so well.

That Boy (That Boy, #1) by Jillian Dodd That Boy 287 pages/GR Completed 10/2/14

How it fits: #8 on the When Friends Fall In Lovelist

*4.5 STARS*

This was really cute. I loved how "that boy" ended up always being there for her and it was such the right choice to have them end up together. I don't think he was necessarily the obvious choice but he definitely was the right one. I don't want to give anything away by naming names, so I will just that "that boy" was as well received with me as the entire book was.

It's sometimes hard for me to read YA because it's usually so full of angst it bogs me down, but this one was really sweet and fun although there were definitely some gut wrenching moments. The beauty of the relationship development made all my ugly tears worth it though. :) I will definitely be continuing on with this series.

Perfect Imperfections
5 stars.
OMG! I absolutely loved this book.
Reg meets Jeremy one night in a bar and talks to him as a normal man, despite the fact that Jeremy is a famous rockstar.
The 2 hit it off and Jeremy asks Reg to come on tour with him as his pretend boyfriend for 7 months.
Over the course of the tour, the 2 fall in love when Jeremy realizes that he is in fact gay.
This author is fast becoming a favorite of mine.

A Touch of Greek by Tina Folsom

Rating: ★★★

Overall this was a cute, light hearted read, but it did stray a little bit on the cheesy side. I love books that involve Greek mythology in them, but this one tended to go a little bit over the top with some of the elements (Hermes and his winged shoes did not work. I thought it was a little silly that these grown men or gods all wanted to fly around in winged shoes). I thought the ending was a little too rushed and wrapped the story up a little too perfectly. But it is a fantasy story, so a little suspension of reality is required.

The Queen's Consorts by Kele Moon The Queen's Consorts 298 pages/GR Completed 10/5/14

*5 STARS*

Wow, oh, wow! Kele Moon is the queen of this book, that's for sure. She weaved the amazing world for us that brought us together with the heartbreaking story of Sari, a girl from the streets, and Taryen and Calder who are the lost Queen of Auroria's consorts. The three of them have tragic tales to tell, but the real story is what happens when fate brings them together.

I LOVE the way this story unfolded. I loved the way Kele Moon was able to draw me in with there story telling and her characters. It absolutely blew me away.

So, yes, this story is an M/M/F menage, so there was so lovely sex in there too. M/M, M/F, and M/M/F, but this story was truly heavy on the story and not so much on the sex. I would have been just as over the moon for it if there had been none at all.

Zach is a cop who is obsessed with catching LeBreau, a man who set up the kidnapping of a 4 year old girl.

An interesting book. A nice back story as well as the story of Lee and Zach.

Review: Intriguing and unique plot following the theft of a very provocative piece of art. The author weaves together the story of the theft with the creation of the painting, and while I wasn't all that interested in the historical side, it was a nice way to add meaning to the story. I thought the painter was too surly and icky to like all that much, so I much preferred the present day activities. Rowan and Taylor had a very sweet romance that I loved. While Dmitri wasn't the nicest of the bunch, he also took a fair amount of abuse, and I couldn't help but root for him to find some happiness.

Option 1

Book read: Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
Date read: 7th October
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
This was a re-read for me actually. Sarah dessen's books were among some of the first books I read and which got me into YA (the kind that didn't involve fantasy as well :P). I have always loved her books since then. It was great to read Along for the ride once again.
The story and certain scenes are just so memorable. :)
It's not only Auden and Eli that the I remember everytime I hear this title though but also Maggie, Adam, Hollis, Thisbe, Heidi and Auden's parents.
I hate Auden's dad. (Selfish idiot. -_-) Loveeee Maggie & Thisbe! Also I wish I could live Hollis' life. Travelling the world and your parent's approving of everything you do.....(well it can't get better than that ;) )
Among Auden's "quests" the ones I loved were the food fight and the time they go to club when Eli kisses her for the first time..while dancing..*sigh* dreamy <3
On a more serious note, this is a story of second chances ...... and sometimes as many chances as you need to get things right. When you know something's right the risk is always worth it. :)

This was a really hyped up book but I just couldn't get into it at all and quite disappointed with it. It was really slow for me and the writing style was quite difficult to read. I hate love triangles and I didn't really like the mystery aspect of which guy was whom.
