I will be starting this after I have finished the last 4 books from the previous list but I'm all ready to go :)
The only one that looks familiar to me is Mile High Guy and I wasn't too impressed with it. I gave it a 2 star.
I've finished list two, I'm going to read a couple of other books this week and do some revision, so I will start this list, along with my course on Monday :)Let's go!
Joo wrote: "The only one that looks familiar to me is Mile High Guy and I wasn't too impressed with it. I gave it a 2 star."I started reading this one & got bored and skipped through it. Then deleted others that I had downloaded by this author.
There are another couple of names that look familiar on that list.
Off to a bad start, Enhanced was terrible! Very very cliched! So I didn't finish it. On to the next one!
was a good story but there were so many errors in there that it was difficult to read.Reading The 9/11 Machine now
The author probably grew up in the era when it was considered more important to be creative than to be accurate. That lax education is coming back to bite us in the bum!
was a great read, a very interesting look at that terrible day.Since then, I've been on a bit of a book binge! I didn't finish
or
but I've really enjoyed
,
,
and
.
wasn't a bad read either. Still reading my way through my list, I'm really enjoying having the next book set out for me!
was really good, couldn't finish
or
though. Don't you just hate it when the penguins start World War III? looks interesting!
I've read a handful more but I got sidetracked by
and ended up buying and reading all of the series and the spinoff!
Firebird and Maid for a Billionaire were two very different but enjoyable books. Short Fuses was terrible!! I was glad it was only short.
I've read a few more, and I'm now at the half way point. Still no more really good recommendations although I did like
even if it was a bit disjointed at times.
That is an insane list. Really what I call a challenge. It must have took you ages to put all the links in as well.
I feel I should get back to making a dent in this! I'm going to aim to get through half of what's left by the end of the Summer. Just need to dig out my Kindle again!
I tend not to get free books. I'm not saying they are all rubbish but I'd rather pay the suthor even just a pound. I couldn't bear to read rubbish books just for a challenge. Crusty this morning, aren't I? ;)

Crusty this morning, a..."These are all books I got when I first got my Kindle and went a bit mad! Figured I'd try all (or most) of them. I have found some gems though, including two series where I ended up buying the lot! One I'd love to have in paperback but I don't have room (the fact it's not available is less of a concern!!)
There's many an author (well, practically all of them that I now follow) that I've gone onto buy their future books based on a freebie. In going through my old tbr pile I found some gems. Yes there's a load of "not quite for me" books that I picked up. Some of them were in support of a "friendly" author having a freebie campaign.

Same here, mainly 'our' authors
I enjoyed Unrequited but didn't get on with Stealing Venus. Working my way through The Osiris Revelations at the moment, not sure what to make of it yet but it is just gripping enough to keep me reading.
I will do, looking forward to it, some of these are the ones I wonder what interested me about them in the first place!!
I have just 3 left from 2012, a Sherlock Holmes, a Ken McClure and a Robert Rankin (which I have read a long time ago on paper, but I bought a shed load of his on kindle when they were 99p)
I'm going through the initial books I 'bought' when I first got my kindle, some I really am wondering what I was thinking - and I haven't got past the descriptions yet!
Books mentioned in this topic
The Last Bride in Ballymuir (other topics)Guardian of the Moon Pendant (other topics)
A Shadow in the Flames (other topics)
Firebird (other topics)
Short Fuses (other topics)

From the experience of the last two lists, some will be brilliant, some average, some mediocre and some horrendously terrible. Therefore, I don't have to finish any book, but I aim to finish the majority. Equally, as I read so many books, I don't have to review them all, but definitely the best and worst of the list.
With the last list, I found it helpful to randomly select 50 books from the list to read, and then randomised the second 50. This time, I won't do that to start with, I will simply read whichever suits my mood next. However, I'll try not to leave the worst books for last this time!
