As the book progresses, the older mouse sibling is explaining how a story is written (using a beginning, middle, and end).
To paraphrase one of the pages:
Older Sibling: A story needs to have a problem or it will be too boring
My elementary teacher used this book for my Reading Class to help us learn how to write stories. (For more reference, I read this book in the 4th grade, so that was around the early 2000s (2004/2005).)
If anyone has a clue what this book is, please let me know!
