Just about 3 hours left before the close of this Date. It's been a fun one!! Anyone else dreading the H choices? Lol

Here's what will qualify for the next Date:
Date 4 - H - Tasks: Breakdown of qualifications of possible tasks for Date 4.
Please remember that all tags/lists must qualify IN CONTEXT!! Links MUST be provided.
Don't make more work for yourself than necessary - if the qualifier is in the title or on the cover, use it! You don't have to go searching for tags to make it work. 😊 If the link you use for the book is the same you are using for the page count and edition - say so (see above edition or something similar)! That saves us all some steps. But please double check your links!
You may use separate editions of your Scavenger Hunt books to qualify for the different tasks. Links MUST be provided.
H is for History - Read a book set at least 50 years ago. Qualification from the GR main book page, précis, tag or list.
You need a book set in 1969 or earlier. If the GR main book page shows a date for the setting, use that - if that shows a date after 1969, the book will not qualify even if the book would otherwise qualify. If the book is tagged historical, that will qualify the book unless the GR main book page date indicates otherwise. Tags, lists and precis indicating specific periods in history, WWII for example, will be allowed as long as the period is over 50 years ago. Tags, lists or precis that include periods less that 50 years ago, i.e. '60s-70s', will not be acceptable.
H is for Horizontal -Read a book whose cover shows a person in a horizontal or reclined position.
The upper body/back of a person on the cover must be reclined over 45 degrees from upright to qualify.
H is for Handcuff - Read a book featuring a MC in law enforcement. Qualification from the title, précis, tags or lists.
The following words will qualify your book in title, precis, tags or lists: law enforcement, police (and expansions), cop, detective, sheriff, deputy, marshal, lawman, Texas Ranger, Mountie (CMP), constable, men in blue, SWAT, FBI, DEA. These must be in context!!
H is for Home - Read a book with a building that could be a home on the cover.
The cover needs to show a building - house, cottage, mansion, castle, high rise, etc. A barn, storefront, courthouse or police department, etc. will not be allowed as they are not homes. Hotels/motels will also not be allowed. Interior images will not be allowed.

No, I wish! It will be announced tonight at 6pm EST. The above is just the guidelines they will use to determine what would qualify, since there are always so many interpretations of the task.

Once Kat & Karen have tallied the totals from the last Date, they will eliminate Rose from our team. This means we will still be eligible for the Team Dating rose but someone would have to read an 'extra' book so the total remains 6.
This hasn't been an issue so far as we've always had plenty of extras, but just wanted to keep everyone informed. :)

I keep seeing this one pop up on my home page here as a recommendation and with friends commenting on reviews of it. And in the Meet & Greet, LOTS of people had Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake on their selection lists. I've never read anything of hers. Might have to check her stuff out.

I have this one planned soon - glad to see you liked it!
Cyndee, Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake was my first by this author - I thought it was quite good and not your usual HR. I really like her heroines, but her heroes are pretty awesome too!

Kristen wrote: "I agree with MKat, Cyndee. It's been a couple of years since I read that one, I think, but I don't think I have ever disliked a Sarah Maclean book!"
I usually shy away from the HRs for some reason but I've added that one to test the Sarah MacLean waters. :)

UGH! Real life has me so far behind in what I want/need to read this week! I will have one done by the deadline, but sadly, only one this week. :(

It was terrible. No GR! Lol
I should be done with my 1st book today. I'm going to try and get another done.
