SGJ is awesome! If you like this, definitely read more by him. Each book is so different from the others...

I'm currently reading Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan. I'm almost done, and I absolutely loved it so far!

I read it as an ebook from my online library. If you don’t have an online library card I suggest you get one. If anyone else read this book what are your thoughts. I’ve seen mixed reviews here on Good Reads.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue Just started reading this, and Im already hooked and mesmerized by Addie and her travels. V.E. Schwab

No One Will Miss Her
by: Kat Rosenfield
Somewhat far-fetched, but unpredictable and puzzling. My full
review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I'm currently reading "The Invisible Life of Addie Larue". I was stuck on it for a few weeks because I found it a bit slow, but I just got to a huge plot twist (made me cry) and now I can't put it down.
It's a super raw, emotional, and analytical book that everyone should try to read!!

Arthur & George
(Loved it despite having read some lukewarm reviews. Although Julian Barnes could write about brushing teeth and I'd buy a hardback of it).
Currently reading:
The Republic of Thieves
And
Stories of Your Life and Others

Now on:
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck (sorry bout the cuss title) by Mark Manson
and
My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises by Fredrik Backman

The Pallbearers Club
by: Paul Tremblay
Mind bender with plenty of dry humor. My full review:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

It is a family saga told in two time periods: 1979 in Iran with the Iranian Revolution just around the corner, and readers are there to see the fractures in the family just as the country begins to tear apart; and 2012, with one of the family members now living in Paris.

The Golden Couple
by: Greer Hendricks
Hendricks and Pekkanen provide twisty suspense. My full review:

Next up Pat Mills's memoir on his heritage and how it informed his series Sláine.

Anne F. is my favourite essayist and this is her first novel.

The Night Shift
by Alex Finlay
Can a suspense thriller be too twisted? See my full review:

Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things and Broken were easier to get into. The writing style is similar so I'm not sure why this one isn't grabbing me as much.

The Measure
by:Nikki Erlick
Intriguing premise from a debut novelist. My full review:

Currently reading Quiet By Susan Cain, So far I am really enjoying it. A great read for my fellow introverts.

I've also got a start on The Battle of Evernight mostly because Book 2 ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, and I didn't like the suspense.

Barbara wrote: "I am late to the party but I’m reading aA GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW by Amor Townes and enjoying it very much. His book THE RULES OF CIVILITY was one of my favorite reads of the last few years."
Paula wrote: "Wow 5,000! I'm reading one that will take me a while but I'm enjoying it so far.

A Gentleman In Moscow is one of my favorites! I just finished The Lincoln Highway yesterday and loved it just as much! I didn't love Rules of Civility though -- but glad I read it!

A A Gentleman in Moscow is also one of my favorites! I have both Rules of Civility and The Lincoln Highway on my TBR list.

It was long past time for me to read this classic and I have enjoyed the first two books. We all basically know the story, and I've been most surprised by the lyrical and elegant writing style of Tolkien.
All the best, Ken
