Edward Norton went to my high school (before I got there), but apparently Randy Pausch (The Last Lecture) grew up in my hometown and is the most Wikipedia'd person. Well, the town I also grew up in, many years later.

Apparently the closest Wikipedia'd person to where I live now is George Marshall. Surprised, given the history of tech where I live...

My hometown is Steven Yuen (Glen in The Walking Dead), which is not surprising because I already knew he went to my high school (he was in my best friend's older sister's class), and I guess that's at least genre related.

My current home is Ludacris, which is a little whatever, but I just learned from this that a nearby town that's not...the nicest place...is the birthplace of Dick Van Dyke, so that's kind of bananas.

I think the data represents a recent timeslice of wikipedia searching, so something happening in recent news can probably skew the results.

Yay! Though I notice there is no entry for Leeds. That is bizarre! They make a big deal of Ed Sheeran in little old Halifax. I am guessing the sizing is based on how frequently the person is searched.
