Oh wow! I just went back to check mine I had 16 books when I joined in (July 2016 --yay 3 years doing this :D) and my percentage was 9% :O

I think I actually joined Netgalley 3 years ago so that would mean I've gotten 20 books per year and actually reviwed like 14 books per year. That's crazy!

I'd really love to go over my oldest books and finally read them, even if the new shinier ones want to steal my attention.

I've also had 39 request declined, 3 of which literally hurt me to my very core lol.

Kristie | 3595 comments Wow, I hadn't done the math. I have given feedback on 148 so far. That means about 30 per year reviewed. Somehow I didn't think it would be so many.

I've had a few that were pretty painful. lol I have actually read plenty of my denied books through the library or by purchasing. For a while it was a joke that I would read my denied books sooner than my approved books.

Vicki Willis | 496 comments It is very interesting to see everyone's history with NetGalley.

I have been on it since April 2016.
I have reviewed 35 (10 this year already. I am getting more active.)
I have 7 on my list waiting to be read.
I have been denied by 39!!! which I have gone on and read 13 of them after getting denied.
I have 8 pending. It seems like they have been sitting there a while, so maybe they will get denied.

I just finished another one that was good. The Dead Girl in 2A The Dead Girl in 2A by Carter Wilson . It was disturbing and took a while to figure it all out. Had a bit of a sci fi vibe.
I am working on Big Sky (Jackson Brodie, #5) by Kate Atkinson and I don't like it so much. It is the #5 in the series, but that isn't the problem. It just isn't interesting. I am only at 40% and have read two other books in the meantime because it seems like I am not making progress. It just published though so I am going to try to push through. I feel obligated to finish.

Kristie | 3595 comments I’ve only read one book by Kate Atkinson and I didn’t love it, actually it was a DNF for me. Hope yours gets better and you’re able to get through it.

I agree! Seeing everyone's progress is weirdly satisfying lol next time I'm bored I'm going to take some time and see when I've had the most approvals, the most reviews, the highest and lowest %, etc. I might actually make an entire spreadsheet with my netgalley stats! (I already have one for my request)

Oh, also I just got approved for The Dead Girl in 2A! Excited to read it :D

Kristie | 3595 comments I went backwards this month. I started the month with 11 books and 93%, then ended the month with 13 books and 92%. Not too bad, but not quite the right direction either. I had a couple that I intended to read that I didn't get to. Hopefully I'll be able to read them in July.
