Would anyone like to buddy read the Percy Jackson series with me? I have already read the first book and just started reading the second, but I would be happy to discuss the first book too.
Me!!! I have the whole series and I keep pushing it off. I really want to get to the rest!

Do you want to set up a chapter schedule and start in May?
Sure! What book are you going to start with? I will be starting with the second, but because I have very little free time and read pretty slowly, if you start on the first book you could probably catch up to me.
As far as a chapter schedule, I could probably read one chapter every weekday and several chapters each on Saturdays and Sundays. So about nine chapters a week. How about you?

No problem! Once the page is set up, I’ll have a more comprehensive chapter schedule but it’s totally optional. It just helps me keep track of it

I haven't read the fourth book yet, and the fifth just came out but I didn't buy it because the hardback wouldn't match the rest of the series on my shelf.

The first is still my favorite, but there is still some of that secret-keeping going on. It's technically not fantasy -- there's no magic at all, only made-up kingdoms.

I'll probably need to wait a week to finish my Halloween books. You read the fifth already?? Nielsen said it was her favorite of the series.
I read it before it came out apparently. it was supposed to come out on like the sixteenth but I read it on....maybe the 12th. idk why but it just appeared on scribd as an audiobook!! I was so shocked but soooooo happy lol. it was amazing. Nielson ripped out my heart though. then she stomped on it. AND THEN put it through the garbage disposal. ouch

We got 5 books in which was more than halfway through the series at that time.
