Review: I am really enjoying this series. I had been meaning to read these books as I kept seeing this author in GRs. Glad I gave Catherine a try. She's very timely it seems with her story lines and im really enjoying the spin off series as well. Dillon & Sherlock are in trouble again with a creepy sort of character. Lissy is a troubled teen whom her Mother led down the path of ruin and destruction and of course no good ever comes to those who travel down that path. I liked the storyline in a weird sort of way. Looking forward to reading the next book soon.

Review:
I have to say that Janet Evanovich really knows how to pull off great laughs. My husband thinks Im crazy when I read her books because im all the time busting out a laugh. This one as well did not disappoint in the laugh department. Kate & Nick are hilarious and the other characters are just as funny. The Big Kahuna - it's like where does she come up with these characters. Hilarious. Glad I read this 6th book in the series but sad because now I have to wait another year for another book. Looking forward to the next book release in the Stephanie Plum series.

Description
Every autumn, Moonbright, Maine, is the picture of charm with its piles of crisp leaves, flickering jack-o’-lanterns … and a touch of the sweetest kind of enchantment.
Witches, goblins, the occasional ghost—they’re all sure to be spotted at the annual Halloween parade, where adults and children alike dress in costume to celebrate Moonbright’s favorite holiday. And no place has more seasonal spirit than Bellaluna’s Bakeshop, a family business steeped in traditional recipes, welcoming warmth—and, legend has it, truly spellbinding, heart-melting treats …
Between good-natured Halloween tricks, frothy pumpkin lattes, and some very special baked goods, for three Moonbright residents looking for love—whether they know it or not—the spookiest thing will be how magical romance can suddenly be …
My thoughts
Loved it ,each author has a cute and sweet Romance story in it that has to do with magic and finding your one ture love, and at the end of the stories you get the recipe for the cookies that was made in the stores , each one will have you either smiling or laughing ,

A friends to lovers book, featuring Max, a master carpenter, and his best friend Rosie, an children's book illustrator.
The two have been inseparable since they met as young children, but never crossed the line between friendship and something more. The book starts with an incident that changes that, and their relationship forever.
(view spoiler)
A light story heavy on the X-rated scenes, that didn't have all that much conflict (view spoiler) .
This is the first book of the series, but there is no information regarding the next book yet.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I was really excited for this book however it was very disappointing. I grew up watching Scooby-Doo and knew this was going to be a knock off, however it was more of a knock down. I do not recommend this book if that is what you were looking for. In the lines of the knock off, it is just the same, some pesky kids and their dog solve crimes and get themselves in trouble.

Loved this one, I love all of Jennifer McMahon's books. This one had been on my TBR for a while and since I was on vacation it finally gave me a reason to pick it up. I love that is this a mix between a myth and a mystery and the ending does not disappoint. Is the fairly King real, or is he just made up. The jumping back and forth between now and then slowly leads us to this crazy ending!

Janet Evanovich never seems to disappoint when I'm looking for a good laugh and this new installment with Nick & Kate was just as hilarious as usual. The cast of characters that she comes up and just as funny as the ones in the Stephanie Plum series. I really enjoyed the book and im looking forward to the next book.

I have been a fan of this series for a very long time. I remember when I was reading the very first book that I wanted a puppy like T Tucker. Hubby bought me a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and I named her Lucy-Fur yes after the Cat because I loved the name. Since we lost Lucy there have been 2 more Corgis...Jezebelle & Rastus. They have crossed the rainbow bridge now but I think of them every time I read a book in this series. Harry & Susan along with Mrs Murphy, Pewter, T Tucker and Pirate along with a few others set out to figure out what is going on around "The Hunt" grounds. In the last 5 or so books RMB has gone back to having a duel mystery that is set in the 1700s along with the present which is an added bonus. Harry as usual figures out the how and why for the mystery to be solved. Definitely recommend the series if you have a like for cozy mysteries.

Definitely a huge fan of the Harry Potter series. I don't think ive watched the movies as much as I have read the books but they are still just as good the tenth time around as they were the first time. I love the characters and every time I listen to the audio version I pick up on things I missed. My favorite line is by Draco Malfoy..."if you get any slower you will be going backwards"...hilarious...would love it if JKR would come up with another series that picks up where the last book in the series ended...im sure I will visit my old friends once again.

I liked this alternate history. It's 1952 a meteorite lands on earth obliterating most of the east coast. Elma was awesome I loved learning about her time as a pilot in WWII also how she tried so hard to get better treatment for female pilots. The emphasis on accelerating the space program was very interesting. I'm looking forward to reading the next book and also the short stories.

I really enjoyed seeing what my favorite characters from The Jane Jameson series are up to. I also liked learning more about Iris and her family. I don't like this series as much as the previous but I will continue on to the next book for more glimpses of my favorite characters.

SO I have had this book recommend to me about a million times and a lot of friends love the series. I read lots of Mystery thrillers and thought why the heck not. The plot of the book was good, however it was about 75% romance, and that is NOT my thing. Take out all of that and Maybe I would have liked it.

It's told in a way that makes you ask yourself if you really know you're self like you think you do .and it's the type of book that makes you stay up late to keep reading it.

A light and fun story about newly divorced Brynn, and Tom, her rebound guy.
The two meet when Brynn actually jumps Tom when her ex shows up at a party she's attending with a younger, prettier version of her, and she gives in to her friends' prodding. He is taken aback but is more than willing to accommodate her, and the two rock each other's world (view spoiler) .
Their relationship is far from typical, from its explosive start to the unexpected (view spoiler) .
The chemistry between them is palpable, Tom loves Brynn's quirkiness, while she loves how he makes her feel, and it's not long before real feelings develop between them.
A light and fluffy story that also introduces the bickering couple of the next book, Man Card, Ash and Braht.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Review:
This one is an uchronia that I enjoyed quite a lot.
It is about the Great War (WWI), but with some changes, we have two factions, the clankers and the darwinist, the firts ones have mecanic war machines, and the others have animal war machines (I'm not sure how to explain this, because I read it in spanish).
Deryn Sharp wants to join England's Air Force, but she can't because she's a girl. The day she goes to the trials, dressed as a boy, she get carried away by a Huxley (wich is some kind of hot air ballon, but made of a jellyfish) and ends up in the Leviathan. I really liked her character, she's brave, clever and loyal.
On the other hand there's Alek, who has to run away from his house in Austria with his swordmanship teacher and mecanics teacher. He's an important piece in this war, so he has to be protected. He copes better than I expected with the situation. He's been preparing for war all his life. He's impulsive but has a strong sense of responsability.
Of course the two MC's paths cross eventually, and they have to help each other.
The book is super fast pased, I read it in a couple of sittings (very far between each one hahaha). I liked the adventure and I want to read more!
The technologies described are pretty interesting. Also the characters are pretty believable, and I liked reading them.
Finally, the book has an epilogue, where the author explained the differences between real facts of WWI and what he changed for this story, I really appreciated that because other wise, I'd have to look in wikipedia about that haha.

Review:
The main character was my favorite.
Liv is a magician, but she doesn't want to be a part of the magicians society, not since her parent died 5 years ago. So she lives by herself, works at a repairing shop, and her only friend is a cat named Plato.
Everything changes when she's summoned to take the place of her older brother as a Warrior in the organization she hates, but it is her heritance and she must be a part of it to "protect magic".
Her magic has been blocked since she abdicated her 'place 5 years ago, but now it has to be reactivated and she must learn how to use it, so she can complete the tasks the council commands her to do.
I liked this one specially because of the characters, Liv, Plato and Rory, they're interesting but also funny, there's a lot of humor in this book.
Although it is a little obvious who the bad guys are, and that's why I gave 4 stars mainly, it was a funny and engaging book. Getting to know this world and see Liv adapting to it was entertaining.
I want to read more.

This is a very entertaining and sweet book.
I love Charlotte as a character and I can't help feeling a bit sad with the story.
What I thought more interesting in this reading are Charlotte's master phrases in which the nature of humans is noted and how she says "humans believe everything they see written".
