SOLVED. YA Suspense/Thriller read between 1999-2003. Two brothers go rafting or kayaking. One of the guys in the group is bad news. Either their is an accident or a murder. [s]

Spoiler: I don't remember if one of the brothers gets killed by the bad dude or not. But the brother who was the main character was a troubled kid who is now a victim of the crazy bad dude. Spoiler: In the end the bad dude gets swept away in the river and is never to be seen again.

I think it was a summer camp. I think their might have been an uncle in the story? I definitely do not remember the cover. It's been over a decade. :)
