Since it was the most popular edition -- and the edition it should be merged with was the second-most popular edition, ISBN 1595541551 with 544 adds -- i deleted it. According to my understanding, that should have resulted in a merge with ISBN 1595541551. However, the most popular edition was merged with the third-most popular edition (the kindle with ASIN B001EHE8JC and 542 adds). Rivka, was that what was supposed to happen, or was it a bug?

Still seems like a NAB to me. There's no book by that author with the same or similar title, so it's not like there's anything to merge with instead.

Pretty much impossible to tell at this point. If merging with a specific edition is important, I (try to) always separate out the two, even when the target is the most popular one.

Thanks. I'll be sure to do that next time. I was too lazy this time, since there were so many other editions, but I'll be vigilant from here on out!

Re 910, the first one is a truncated ISBN13. Definitely don't delete. It would be best to google around and see if you can find the complete ISBN.

The second set is absolutely not a merge. THey have different ISBNs and different formats.

Z-squared | 8575 comments re 912, you'd want to merge it with the most popular edition with the same name/format. The default/ most popular edition of that book is Paradies (in German), so you'd need to separate the duplicate and the most popular English edition, then post here for merging. Just FYI for next time.

Same problem as before, it's a truncated ISBN13. This time, however, the full-length ISBN13 is already on Goodreads (you can see it on the all editions page, just do a control-F search with the truncated number to find the full one):

Turns out there was a bad cover change in the librarian log for one of them. The other is actually an ACE. Edited accordingly.
