I'm going to choose a gold bracelet because I can't find a silver book to read.
1.The Demon King - Cinda Williams Chima (gold cover)
I have six cats hence the cat charm.
2. Charmed to Death - Shirley Damsgaard (cat on cover)
I love mysteries so I'm going to choose the puzzle piece.
3. 14 - J.T. Ellison (mystery)
I enjoy riding my bike so I'm adding the bicycle charm.
4. A Bicycle Built For Murder - Kate Kingsbury (bicycle on cover)
Winter is my favorite season so I'm adding both the snowman and the snow flake.
5. Red Riding Hood - Sarah Blakley-Cartwright (snow on cover)
6. Cold Magic - Kate Elliott (white cover - like snow)
I love paranormal books so I'm adding both the witch and the coffin charms.
7. Enchanted, Inc. - Shanna Swendson (heroine is a witch)
8. Drink Deep - Chloe Neill (vampires)
I've always been fascinated by Australia and Alaska but even though there aren't charms for them, I can add them.
9. Outback Sizzle - Alexis Fleming (set in Australia)
10. Toehold: A Novel - Stephen H. Foreman (set in Alaska)

The challenge here is to build a charm bracelet that reflects you personally. Start with a plain silver or gold bracelet and add your choice of charms. I have included a few charms for each subject, however if you would like other choices, just click on the spoiler tag, then click on the link that is revealed. This will redirect you to a page with more charm selections. (They didn't all fit here.) These charms are just suggestions, if you don't see the charm you are looking for, please feel free to find one and add it to your challenge (virtually or visually). This challenge is all about you so get creative. You can make your bracelet as simple or as complex as you desire. Choose 5, 10, 15 or any number of charms to complete your bracelet. You have one year to complete this challenge so choose wisely.
Of course, there is a catch. First of all, you must read a book with a silver or gold cover which represents the bracelet itself. Then for each charm you add, you must read a book that somehow relates to that charm. I have provided an example in post #2 but please remember you don't have to make yours the same. This is just one interpretation of a charm bracelet.
Rules:
◈ All book formats are acceptable.
◈ Books must be at least 150 pages.
◈ You may post a list in advance, or post as you go. Changes can be made to your list at any time.
◈ Please provide the book title/author link for each book read, as well as the date finished.
◈ After you have completed the challenge, please re-post your list as a new message.
