Cheryl (bookeatery) | 2 comments Genre: I assume that the book is a psychological thriller as the mood of the book kind of has a slow tension throughout the book but peaks.

Plot Details: This boy who was deemed missing before is finally found and goes back to his family. The police asked the parents if they would like a DNA test to make sure that he's their son, but they assured them that it's their son. The boy goes to their home and is slightly uncomfortable and awkward since he doesn't remember much about his former life. He sees that he has a younger sister and doesn't remember her either. Eventually, he starts to assimilate into this lifestyle and possibly remembers some memories.......

This is a stand-alone book. I remember that the author is a woman and has made other several books. I think she has made mystery series too.

Year: Probably around 2013

Book Cover???: This may lead to a wild goose chase so don't take this piece of information to heart! I think that the book was a cover of someone laying down on the ground, but we only get to see the side view of the face. More specifically, the eye. It's so close that we can see the individual eyelashes and there are some white flakes on those eyelashes.

Thank you!

SPOILERS AHEAD!

The ending was a huge plot twist.

The police show up at the house again and tell the parents that their actual son was found dead (they did DNA tests). The boy that came into their house listens to this and just runs away. The book ends with this abrupt moment and we don't know what happens next.
