OMG!! About time it got in for book of the month...... I'm excited, I have been holding off reading it, waiting for it to get into this :)I can finally take it off my bookshelf and add to my April reads
I finished this March 17 2016 and I can still remember it vividly!! I gave it 4.5*. I will definitely drop in on this thread as you all read it. It's seriously creepy.Enjoy everyone. :)

I just finished reading this, creepiest book I have read in a long while. Found myself dreaming about it last night. Loved the connection between the physical and the symbolic of the title and the story. Won't say anymore until some more readers have finished.
Hi Evelyn I just went to see if you'd reviewed it yet but I think not.. Looking forward to more discussion here.
I'm about a quarter of the way, it's very close to the movie so far yet I still feel nervous reading it.
Just finished this book. Can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks. Though after reading I don’t think I’ll watch the movie. Just want to keep the ideas I have from the book. :)
Im halfway through and so far the book and the movie are pretty much the same to me, nothing has been changed drastically.
I'm just over halfway through the book, yep very similar to the book so much tension arrggh. I should finish it over the next couple of days....
Hi! I haven't been in this group for a while - I just dropped in to see what books you are reading. I actually got Bird Box recently and wanted to read it before I watched the series on TV.
Sped through this one in just a couple of days. I really enjoyed it. It's hard to find a unique concept in horror, one that isn't obviously derivative of the four or five basic genres that have been established. And while this certainly contains elements of those classic tropes, Malerman really does an excellent job of twisting those into something almost totally new. The two-track plot was also expertly done, basically giving us two climaxes for the price of one. One of my favorite reads of the year thus far!
