Just finished by book. Was reading so couldn't check in. Don't know why it took so long *sigh* Sorry we had to use our free pass. And I'll definitely keep true to my promise from now on Sue. I know we already rolled but do I have to post a review nevertheless to move on? let me know.
I was just contacted by Jenne we can have pass back if we post all reviews and re roll .what do you team want to do... I don't care what we chose... Let me know here and if we decide to Review Arshiya we will need you to post your review...
Well as long as we all read and review on time, I vote for keeping this roll. I'm almost half way done with my book.
Arshiya that means you must have review on Wednesday and Saturday your time. But reading the book as soon as rolled and posting early is best.....
Okay Sue. I'll be starting my book today and will be done as early as Tuesday. Won't be late from now on :)

Synopsis:
A boy, a man and a dog
Robin Masterson's ten-year-old son, Jeff, wants to make friends with the dog next door. The problem is that Blackie belongs to Cole Camden—the unfriendliest man in the Mastersons' new neighborhood.
Cole hadn't always been so solitary, so aloof. The deaths of his wife and son had embittered him, and that was something Robin could understand. Her own much-loved husband had died when Jeff was just a baby.
Now, for the first time in ten years, Robin finds herself responding to a man. To Cole Camden. But is he interested in her—or in replacing the family he'd lost?
I found this to be a very predictable book, with character's that had no personality....I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because it had a good story plot, I think if the character's were better developed it would have rated high. It was a quick read though.

Review:
This was another good instalment in this series. I just love the Kelly family. Whether they be blood or not. I liked the slow progression of the main couples relationship. Some nice scenes with Rusty. I'm glad I'm late in reading this series as there are plenty for me to read and I'm looking forward to getting to them.
Happy Monday !!!! I was sick yesterday and did no reading so I may be last (started book late last night) only a 1/3 done been busy at work but I will be done on time....lol...How you coming on book Arshiya?

This is SPEEDY Series Challenge...Not all can do it...If you feel like it t much, say something to Jenne. She has people to fillin...I only work part time( and when I do work, I listen to audio books, hubby is my boss) and have grown children I have a lot of time to read...When I was your age I wouldn't have even tried a challenge like this..
Arshiya wrote: "Aww. How do you people read so fast? :P"Yep, this is speedy challenge, so need to be able to read books quick. I think I said in conversation at beginning, I'm disabled (bedridden), so I have plenty of time to read and join multiple challenges and read plenty of books a week.

A tormented past has left Thane with an insatiable need for violence, making him the most dangerous assassin in the skies.
He lives by a single code: no mercy. And as he unleashes his fury on his most recent captor, he learns no battle could have prepared him for the slave he rescues from his enemy's clutches—a beauty who stokes the fires of his darkest desires.
Elin Vale has her own deep-rooted scars, and her attraction to the exquisite warrior who freed her challenges her every boundary.
But Thane's unwavering determination to protect her means she must face her greatest fears—and enter a world in which passion is power, and victory means breathtaking surrender.
I have really enjoyed this series and hope she writes more of it. I think they said at end she was gonna write a spin off about Ellen that I would like to read...
Are you gonna be able to keep up? There is nothing wrong with saying you took on too much... This half of week is 4 days, were the other half is only 3 and you are cutting this short , we roll tonight....
I know. I'll be able to finish this book in an hour or so. But I was thinking I'll see for one more week if I can keep up. If not I'll inform Jenna that it's a bit too much for me.
Ok sounds like a plan... It seems like all I doing is rushing you and I' m really not a mean person and I want you to enjoy reading , rather than think of it as a chore.....

Review: I found this series on a random member's shelf this August and picked it up as a part of a challenge then. It was rated 5 stars and the synopsis looked quite good. I have to say I wasn't a least bit disappointed then. I rated the first book 5 stars too and couldn't wait to read the 2nd in series. So naturally when I got a chance to do just that I jumped on it :P
This book was not as good as the 1st but it was not a huge disappointment either. It was nice to see all the action in the end. Also Roux is my favourite character in this story and I'm truly happy that she found someone good enough for her.
Can't wait to see what happens next! I haven't heard whether there's a 3rd book coming out but if it does I'll be the first in line to read it. Hope it's from Ames' point of view this time. I'd love to know him (and Ryo and Elodie) more :)
